Coldwater Golf Club

Had a great experience with the staff from check in to first tee. The pace of play is extremely slow, waited on every tee box and in most cases two groups at a time. It seemed like groups were put out really close to each other so on short holes you had two groups on the tee, a group in the fairway waiting to hit while a group is putting. The course was in pretty good shape coming out of overseed. I would play again if the pace was better.

Hmmmm, we'll start with the pro shop. Appears that only one person was actually working out of the four behind the counter. No driving range balls available, no one to pick them up, but of course there were 3 able bodies at the pro shop. Booked a threesome in the afternoon Sunday. Apparently no carts available until 15 minutes to tee time. Was told we had to share the 2nd cart with a solo due to them being out of carts, lie. I checked later bookings and there were only a few booked after us with 14 carts now available, made us pay extra for the cart. Course conditions were utter garbage, tee boxes mostly bare or overgrowth of weeds. Fairways had not been cut in days, like 2 inch rough. Greens were baked and had weeds. This course look like it was going out of business any day now. Would never play here again, even if it was free. Wouldn't allow me to upload the pictures. This is all true, hoping you don't see to believe.

First time playing Coldwater and I really enjoyed it. I played with a fellow who had been there a year or more ago and he said he'd never seen it in such good condition. Nice track. Good pace of play. The staff were really great. The fellow in the pro shop was such an excellent ambassador for this business - I'm sorry I didn't get your name but you were one of the bonuses to my day. Thanks for everything!

They were just coming out of overseed but overall, course was in really good shape for the price. A few brown spots on the greens and a little shaggy but rolled well. I’ve played this course a month or so out of overseed and it was great. There are some challenging holes and it’s easy to get in trouble if you get a little cocky! Always enjoy the course and staff.

The course is much improved since I last played it in March 2023. They just completed overseeding and they still allowed the carts on the fairways. The greens were a little slow because of oversedding, but were otherwise in very good shape. I would play this course again.

Tee boxes needed to be cut, alot of dirt/dust, greens had alot of bare spots. Better tee markers that are visible above the grass on the tee boxes!!
