About
Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Club boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Club also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

Greet time
Course was in great shape. We had the course to ourselves so the pace of play was excellent. Shop staff is always helpful, courteous, and , knowledgeable. Great time!
Coldwater Round
It was a great day on the course. Weather was excellent. The course was in good condition. We had a great day.
Loved it, played 3 days consecutively
Challenging course, lots of variety in the course layout. Played blue tee 6,305 yds which meant some challenge for me to hit some fairways. Off fairway can spell more trouble than recognized in the course hcp factoring. Overall condition is great. As a few reviews point out, some tee boxes need a bit of work. More important to me the fairways are quite good while greens are in excellent condition featuring different sizes, difficult to read slopes and a few with multiple elevation levels. Staff in pro shop, starters & marshals always friendly & helpful. Paired with nice people. Plenty of parking and has a convenient range. Unique factors beyond golf are the Burrowing Owls, Burrowing Chipmunks and hundreds of songbirds. Definitely good value for money; we will return for sure.
Lack of organization
I booked a 1:20pm tee time, when I arrived I was told my tee time had changed to 2:44 due to a tournament. There were also no carts available. Then I was told my tee time had changed again to 1:28. We finally go out at 1:35.
The previous visit was also not the best, no carts again and we had to wait over an hour to get on the course.
I don’t think I’ll be back.
Sunny and very windy
Played this course many times but never in such windy conditions. Great variety of holes including some elevation changes. Hard to get used to inflated prices since playing golf in the Phoenix area since the early seventies.
Found my wallet
Was a nice course fairly straight greens were good not super fast
At the end of the round (under 4 hours) went in for a beverage when I left forgot my wallet on the table Realized it about 5 mules away called in a panic A very nice man that worked their had it and handed it too me when I can back

I showed up about an hour early. Just randomly asked if I could go early, shop attendant handed me keys to golf cart and said go have some fun. Joined up with 3 collegiate players who played lights out. Great experience at Coldwater GC
Could use a touch up
Course is layed out well. Definitely a good course for intermediate level golfers. Cart paths need lots of work. Some tee boxes pretty bad. Greens were in good shape with a few spots starting to have weeds coming out. I enjoyed playing it but it’s definitely overpriced. I will play again but only when a special or Hot deal is available. Probably not my first choice but I like I said I’d play again
We enjoyed our day.
The course was in good condition all things considered.
