Sundance Golf Club

This course is failing fast. Fairways are poor; there are no starters and the driving range has no grass.

But the biggest issue is the unacceptable condition of their golf cart fleet.

We attempted to play today and at 9:30 AM, there were no carts available. The cart inventory is reduced by approximately 30% because the batteries have reached the end of their life cycle and they are not replacing them. Best to find another course.

Everything about Sundance gets high marks, but the carts do not. Played here early November and the other twosome had their cart die on them on hole 4. Two weeks later I return to play and now it's my turn. Our cart was moving super slow by hole 3 and couldn't make it up steep inclines. We managed to get the first nine in but needed a fresh cart. Hole 10 the cart was fine but by hole 12 same problem. Limped through the back nine and when we finished we mentioned it to cart barn employee and he said he was not surprised. He said next time request a gas cart. Come on Sundance...you are better than this. Fix the electric cart issues.

Good value for the money. Tee boxes are in good shape as are the greens but the fairways had too many dead spots.

Also, pace of play on the back nine was woeful. Waiting on the tee box with four waiting in the fairway and another foursome taking 8-10 minutes to putt. Two holes wide open in front of them. Couldn’t play #18 as it was too dark. 2 hours and 45 minutes to play 10 - 17…..

Course was in good condition for coming off of overseed. Greens run true and fast. Lots of subtle undulations. Good value for the money.

We are ‘members’ paying for the use of a cart. We had to replace the cart 3 times by the 2nd hole. Not acceptable for the price we are paying. On the turn, there must have been more than a dozen waiting for carts to play. Good luck to them as the carts they will get are the dead returns.

The course is not in good condition considering the early over seeding and lack of attention to details. Don’t expect a starter and a ranger is on weekends only and spends most of his time recovering dead carts.

Played yesterday. Cart died on 4th hole. Replacement was brought to us but that one was very slow. Pace of play was horrid. Horrid. Finally left after 6 holes. Couldn’t stand the constant waiting. No course marshals so the slowpokes played at a snails pace .

This was the first time that I had played Sundance, the staff were friendly, we will be back!

I played like ----, Not very well. I just need to stay in the game. Some days are good and some not so.But always a great Golf Course.

Over seed has grown in nicely.

Both the carts we were using had to be swapped out after 9 as the batteries were drained.
