About
Located in the West Valley, Sundance Golf Club offers scenic views of the White Tank Mountains to the north and the Estrella Mountains to the south. Designed by Greg Nash, the golf course is unique in that it flawlessly blends lush green landscaping with Sonoran Desert washes and arroyos. The rolling terrain of this target-style course creates elevation changes that can affect play. Sundance Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 sixth hole, which requires a precise shot over Sundance Lake to an undulating green that is sloped toward the lake. There are four sets of tee boxes on the golf course for many different options, but the Sundance Golf Club also offers a driving range, chipping area, and putting green.

Golfer Reviews
Best Desert in the West Valley
Tee boxes, fairways and greens are green and in mint condition. Greens are very challenging!
Amazing course and staff, highly recommend!
It was my second time going back to Sundance and I highly recommend the course for both the overall course itself and the staff is a major plus also. Compared to some other places I’ve been, the staff at Sundance is way more friendly and welcoming. Pace of play was good for a Sunday afternoon also, not held up by the people in front and people behind weren’t waiting on us either.
I’ll definitely be returning back. Thanks to Kenny and other staff members for making a great experience!
Poor experience, awful service
Tee time was for 5:46am. Checking in, the employee said we will be teeing off at 6am instead as the first group out. We pulled up to hole 1 at 5:50ish, and three guys are on the tee box. They asked when we tee off, and we told them 6am. They didn't seem to care anyways as they still finished teeing off and took off down the hole. The starter rolled up a moment later sounding angry and telling us we can't tee off until 6. Yea, we know, why are you yelling this at us when there's 3 people already halfway through the hole??? We find out the group ahead were maintenance guys trying to get a quick game in. Whatever. Before we tee off the starter tells us that a tournament will be starting shotgun style from holes 7 to 14 starting at 7am and we will have to wait for them to tee off at 7 before we can continue. Great thanks for no heads up on that. There are 8 guys that show up at 7, and we get a 30+ minute wait while they cut us off. 5.5 hours later we finish our round. Thanks Sundance for delaying our start and never telling us about a tournament until we get to the course. Awful service and communication on Sundance's part. I will not be going back and I live in sundance. Shame.
Great but tricky greens
Nice greens and layout! Pace of play was excellent!
Great course for the money
This desert course is the best in the west valley. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are in great shape.
Slooooooooow
Sundance is a nice course to spend 4 hours on a beautiful day. But on this day we were on pace to finish 18 holes in over 5 hours. Not acceptable. There was no ranger controlling the pace ahead of us. There was no beverage cart to be seen. After the 10th hole we called the pro shop to complain. They sent out the ranger to address our concern. He agreed that the pace at which we were playing would end up being close to 5 hours. We were told they would refund our fees if we left the course at that time. We decided to stop playing and get the refund. So it turned out that there was a group 3 holes ahead of us that were a hole and a half behind. Maybe the ranger should be monitoring the course more often. Crossing my fingers there is no dispute over our refund. I like Sundance, but the snowbirds own the course from October through May. Oh well, summer can’t get here soon enough.
Course improves every year
Staff are always friendly, course conditions are improving every year. I come to Arizona twice a year and usually play Sundance at least six to eight times per year. I understand their restaurant just opened but haven't tried it yet.Would definitely recommend!
Excellent but tricky greens!
Good layout and very good conditions. We played in a 4 some early and played in 3 hrs and 15 minutes. Helps to play the course a 2nd time!
Fun Day
Course was in great shape. some greens looked blotchy, but they rolled true.
