About

Located in the West Valley, Sundance Golf Club offers scenic views of the White Tank Mountains to the north and the Estrella Mountains to the south. Designed by Greg Nash, the golf course is unique in that it flawlessly blends lush green landscaping with Sonoran Desert washes and arroyos. The rolling terrain of this target-style course creates elevation changes that can affect play. Sundance Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 sixth hole, which requires a precise shot over Sundance Lake to an undulating green that is sloped toward the lake. There are four sets of tee boxes on the golf course for many different options, but the Sundance Golf Club also offers a driving range, chipping area, and putting green.

Very Nice Course

Played it on a rainy Sunday but the course had very few soggy spots and was in great condition. Greens are very fast but receptive and bunkers had sand (a valley rarity) Overall very good experience on a fair but challenging course.

Quick Enjoyable Round

Booked an 0626 tee time an hour prior. Got out on time and were able to play a quick round. Didn’t have any interactions with the staff except the starter at hole 1. Didn’t use any off course amenities, maybe next time.

Sundance course condition

The greens were in terrible shape and some of the rough had a lot of weeds growing in it. Clubhouse is still not open. This course is going downhill. We used to play it all the time need to improve it soon and the price was ridiculous for the condition of the course.

Club house over booked, out of carts, delayed tee time. Third time I've played and never finished a complete round even starting at 2:15pm... 4 1/2 hours to finish 16 - 17 holes then too dark. Beverage carts stop between 4:30 and 4:45pm. Very poor management no Marshall or Starter except on Saturday and Sunday Mornings

Sundamce first time

I was in the last group before a collfege golf tournament. At first it was fine. We waited quite a bit on the group in front of us and they were waiting on the group in front of them so it was backed up. Then all of a sudden a bunch of college golfers and their parents coaches started playing behind us. Well we were backed up and they kept getting upset with us and we could not go any faster. Twice they complained. We felt pressured. I finally quit on hole 17 and just left. It wasn’t worth it. They should not have booked the course that way. The course was nice. It was not worth $75 but it’s high season. Especially since I did not get to finish. I left with 2 holes left and we were already 5 hours into the day. Not well managed.
