About
Located in the West Valley, Sundance Golf Club offers scenic views of the White Tank Mountains to the north and the Estrella Mountains to the south. Designed by Greg Nash, the golf course is unique in that it flawlessly blends lush green landscaping with Sonoran Desert washes and arroyos. The rolling terrain of this target-style course creates elevation changes that can affect play. Sundance Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 sixth hole, which requires a precise shot over Sundance Lake to an undulating green that is sloped toward the lake. There are four sets of tee boxes on the golf course for many different options, but the Sundance Golf Club also offers a driving range, chipping area, and putting green.

Needs improvement
Course conditions have deteriorated since I last played 2 years ago. Range is mostly dirt in the hitting area and $8 for a small bucket of balls is too much. my cart had no parking brake and when I asked about it upon finishing my round the attendant said "yay a lot of them are like that".
Mostly greens and fairways were in good shape.
Brutal for the $$
No pro shop. Paid at restaurant, no receipt. Told we didn’t need one. Paid way too much for course condition and lousy cart. Way below Phoenix standards. Course in terrible condition! Came to play from Sun City West. Will never be back.
Great Course
Yhis my favorite uder $100 for a round. A lot of different holes. It's a thinker golf course. The greens were fast an hard to read.
My sure you looks every hole and check where you miss.

Best value in the area. Nice conditions and a fun course.
Don’t become a member
My wife and I have been both full members and seasonal members (a past option) for 6 years. This year it cost us $8000 to play as a couple. Management has allowed groups of 16 to Prebook tee times from 8 am through 11 am Monday to Thursday. Even though we can book 15 days in advance those tee times are not available for us to book. Some group members are not annual members but just pass holders .. Since the course has no starters some pass holders don’t even check in with the pro shop just go to the first tee and play for free in prime time. We are done here…Too much patronage and favouritism and no management control.

I have never seen a pro shop so sparce. I think it only had hats and a few womens clothes.
The check in was with a young kid that had the I don't care attitude. The bar staff was unfriendly and rude with the exception of one guy that all the rest of them should be taking notes from. The cart girl left early because she felt like it. Never saw her the entire round. Lucky needs to sell the place to someone that knows how to run a golf course!
The course itself was in pretty good shape and played well. I like the layout.
Sundance great shape Teed off at 7:30 a little Chilly but Pace of Play was Good being one of the first groups out they have remedy the cart problem new own bought all new batteries for carts, still don't understand why th golf courses keep raising there price definitely worth playing if you can get it at a reasonable price
