Course Highlights
Crow Creek's challenging layout with water hazards and true-rolling greens consistently earns high praise from visiting golfers. Welcoming staff, a quality practice facility, and strong value make this a standout Myrtle Beach-area choice.

The course is owned by Jerry McLamb and built on his 500-acre family homestead. The front picks its way through old tobacco fields and vegetable gardens, and its flatness makes it susceptible to the coastal breezes that kick up in early afternoons. There is both bunkering and mounding, though both are subtle. The back nine winds through Carolina woodlands, and has a different feel with tree-lined fairways and rolling contours. The strongest stretch of holes on the course is from No. 15 to the closing hole. Overall, the course is a well-groomed, playable layout with large, bentgrass greens and a pleasing, traditional layout.

Crow Creek has made a name for itself among Brunswick County's 30-plus golf courses by supplying golfers with a playable, well-groomed layout replete with airplane hanger sized L93 bentgrass greens and sensibly designed golf holes.

Awesome

Everything about this course was great! Friendly staff and course layout flows great. Had a lot of fun with my group l. They have a nice range and a couple putting greens to warm up on. Overall great course. First time ever playing this course I shot a 94 and the second time I played 2 days later and shot a 90. With a20 handicap I don’t think the course was too hard or anything.

Northerner

The layout is nice and in pretty good shape. The staff was friendly and professional. The senior tee boxes were in pretty bad shape. The fairways were pretty good. The greens were good. It was better than most of the courses down here. It seems to be tougher to keep courses in good shape here. But this was one of the better ones. Don’t expect great conditions though. Prices are so high right now. But Golf now had a reasonable deal.

A great time at the old Crow

I have been coming to the Myrtle Beach area to play golf for over thirty years and with all of the options available in The Strand I am now asking why have I never played this gem?! Enjoyed an early morning round as a twosome, pace of play was great, staff as friendly as any in the area and the food and drink hit the mark! Nice facilities and great conditions were all there, as well. Course layout is enjoyable with everything tight in front of you and the cart GPS makes strategic decisions a breeze. I look forward to my return trip to Crow Creek.

Fun course to play

Crow Creek is a must play for anyone looking for a fun course in very good shape tee to green. It was my 1st time playing CC and will play again. Lots of fun, challenging holes. Ladies in the pro shop are top notch and bag drop guys are also. Has a great practice facility also.

A little disappointing

Was excited to play crow creek from what I was reading and other people opinions. But the overall course conditions were a let down. Played the Man of War the day before and the course was much more manicured.. Maybe I to give it another shot later on this summer..

Nice track

It’s a nice track, but it needs some work. The tea boxes were not in good shape. The sand traps could use some work. I was told it was a premium course in the area and as far as I’m concerned, that is not the case.

Family fun

Father in law and Son in law vs. Father in law and Son in law… played best ball.. had fun. Water on most if not EVERY hole… so keep it in the fairways.

Great course played on a chilly Sunday morning.. Nice layout… we would recommend !
