Greens are fast and tricky

bad - no course Marshall’s anywhere to be found

Slow slow pace of play

Zero amenities no clubhouse no food

Lots of houses springing up around course

Cart use us overly controlled on and off course

One maintenance staff stood on the green watering sand and green oblivious to oncoming shots or players for ten minutes ????

Greens had lots of ball marks and debris, very little trimming of cart paths etc. Lots of obvious neglect.

This is one of my favorite courses in the area. The course and the staff are great!

My first time playing here. It’s a beautiful course with so much character. It’s got some challenging holes that will test your course management, but not so tough that you’ll feel defeated.

Great course and tough greens! Couple holes are just downright unfair, but honestly one of the prettiest courses I’ve played. Love it so much I became a member, which is a ridiculously good deal.

Course in really good shape. Bunkers could use a little attention. Yeah I was in them more often than usual

I payed for 18 holes. I quit after 8 holes. The group of 3 ahead of me were rudely slow. I wanted to work on my game. I had to wait along time on every shot . I was so frustrated I could not get into a rhythm They were smoking pot while playing. Maynot be illegal but annoying to others.

This is the most beautiful course you never get to play.....one group I caught up to started at noon and did not finish...

There is no management, no marshall and they do not enforce the rules, no restaurant, the cart girl just drove right by me when I tried to flag her down....rude....on one hole there were four groups.....two foursomes and a six.....one group had kids. Letting them play and hitting from the tip just wasting time and balls.....meanwhile no etiquette...no ready golf...and 20 handicappers playing from the tips instead of the whites...

I personally not only won't go back but would like a refund.....

4.7 rating....yeah right

Not being able to grab a beer and a dog at the turn is a big negative. Not being able to enjoy something to eat and an adult beverage after the round is a HUGE negative.

Cart Gestapo: I hate the GPS set-up that stops the cart from going to certain areas of the course, when there are no other indicators that you should not drive there. If you don't want us to drive the cart somewhere, make it more obvious, put up a sign or a rope of something other than just shutting down the cart. This happened all over the course. A good example is the first access to the fairway on #9.

We tee'd off at 2:50, pace of play was slow. The course is in excellent shape and the layout is challenging. it's well worth playing Darkhorse.

Course is in great shape and is a fun interesting place to play.
