DarkHorse Golf Club

Darkhorse has always been a solid design with plenty of challenge. Fell on hard times and was in very poor condition for several years. New owner has lovingly restored condition to greatness. White sand in the bunkers is awesome. Say hi to owner as he can been seen riding the mowers or supervising conditioning as he takes personal interest in his baby. Minimal starter shack, no true pro shop; but no need, really. It's all about the golf. Now has Top Tracer range with great practice amenities. Very challenging course; but play the correct tees, and everyone can enjoy. A great place to play and well worth the drive from the city.

Dark horse was absolutely superb when I played it. The course is in excellent condition from the tees to fairways and greens. It is a really challenging course but there are a number of tee options to make it a fun day for all abilities. Jason In the pro shop is super friendly and will help you out with a tee time. The course is surrounded by beautiful trees and some nice houses. Each hole presents its own challenge and this is a hidden gem in California and super value for money. If you love golf you must get to Darkhorse.

Beautiful layout. Great conditions. Fairways and greens just awesome. Rest rooms didn’t have soup or papers. No garbage can to through your wrappers on the whole course. No food services. Only a golf cart and it only came around once. Not many options. Plenty of drinking water coolers. But no food services. This place deserves a proper club house and restaurant.

No clubhouse but terrific mountain golf that will eat you alive from tee to green. Some fairway bunkers are really placed in unfair spots and force average hitters to club down. Would not recommend playing the tips if you haven’t been here before. Greens break hard !

Excellent greens, course layout. Hopefully new golf cars are on the way!

No lunch at the turn, sometimes there's a hot dog stand but at $80/round plus the drive out there they should push for a food truck or something at least for the weekends.

Course was in great shape as always

Not real friendly check in guy for the amount of money u pay to play you think staff would be a little more friendly. Marshal pretty grumpy as well I don’t think you need to tell some one that’s staying on the cart path that’s it’s cart path only like he’s the cart path police I’m not 5 I only need to be told once like when I checked in

The Dark Horse staff were very friendly and the course is in great condition from the tees to the greens, including the traps. The only drawback is no restaurant on site, but the golf is well worth the price.

Really great course, but the older/taller gentleman at the front is a crook. Guy over charged my entire foursome all weird and random prices! He never offered us a receipt so we didn’t notice until after our round. He also acted like he was giving us range balls for free but got me for 7 dollars for probably 14 balls.
