Shadow Hills Golf Club

Starter was helpful, course in good condition from tee box to green. Good pace of play...4 hours for a foursome. Golf Shop was closed, however, when we finished at 2 pm... curious.

Had a early tee time to beat the heat. Great starter guided us to first tee after warming up. Course was in good condition except greens had been punched recently. Snack bar didn’t have any real food at the turn. Overall a nice round.

We played here twice in 4 days and had a great time . The fairways conditions were great making it easy to get the ball up.

Couldn't have asked for better weather when it was 90 outside with low humidity and hardly any souls on the course, We finished in 2:45 and did not even realize we were done with 18 holes.

Aerated greens are bumpy but still good.

This course is usually in good shape, but not so much last weekend. Greens were punched and almost unplayable. I'm sure that they will be ok in a few weeks, but I won't be arranging any rounds there until later this year.

Love this course! Staff is always friendly and the course is in great shape. Some of the tee boxes were browned out, but overall, the course was excellent. We played the last day before they close the course to punch the greens, but the greens were still maintained and in great condition. This course has multiple tees for any skill level...I recommend taking one less than what you think since the course does have some challenging holes.

Got out first at 6am and played 18 in about 2 hours 45 mins with my brother. Staff was friendly, conditions were good but great bang for buck for the $55 price tag with a cart. Lots of sand but not too complicated for intermediate golfer. Would definitely play again.

I really enjoyed this course. The fairways were generous and the greens rolled really smooth.

The course is very nice and user friendly. Very nice conditions, especially the greens. I also enjoy playing there.

As a native of the Coachella Valley and avid golfer when I did live there, I had no idea Shadow Hills was a public course until I was able to book through Golf Now. The golf bug is back, so I thought I’d get out on the course upon a returning visit to town. Shadow Hills is a beautiful and challenging course to play. I loved everything about it... the pin placements, slick greens, lakes, bunkers, desert landscape, mountain views and that wind that exists on the northside of the 10 freeway, get your stinger ready and fire away. If you flush it down the middle, the fairways are in great shape and the rough is manageable. If you mishit, happy hunting. Overall a great course to play. Such as life, No golf course experience is perfect, and on any golf course, the interactions with individual staff members are hit and miss in my experiences. On this day, some staff members hit and some staff members really missed. The major shining light that enhanced my experience at Shadow Hills, was the starter. He was Courteous, Friendly, and Welcoming, everything you’d want to experience from a staff member when playing a game that embodies etiquette and respect. Would I play again? Of course, individual staff interaction is there to enhance my experience, not dictate wether I play well when taking on a challenging course. In this case, I enjoyed the course, I enjoyed the challenge, I played well, enjoyed myself and would definitely return.

First time on this course, had not played in a few months and was looking for a course to just get back into it. The pace of play was perfect, able to get in a nice rhythm. Definitely will be back.
