Wolf Creek Golf Course

Course was in poor condition it had rained but still the fairways are 'rough'. Even though carts were due at 5pm I was told at 4pm they close the back 9. It was 4:02pm and they would not let me play the front nine again saying nobody can tee off the front at 3pm either. I was not told of this while booking or at the clubhouse. Only when I tried to make the turn and the back 9 was suddenly closed. Not helpful.

I have played this course for years. They have never rolled this true - or this fast.

Fairways in nice condition also.

Just slow. The Marshall rode around barking at everyone to bring the carts in at 5:15 sharp.

Our foursome all wondered the same thing out loud, "Where has he been all day when the pace of play was so slow?"

Awesome scenic track with scoreable holes and holes that will beat you down and make you try to be accurate off the tee.

I was pleasantly surprised by the course’s excellent condition. A year ago, I couldn’t say this as the greens were in terrible shape. Now, the course is back up to par.

I've played this course off and on over the last 10 years and always enjoyed the layout. I played it about 6-7 months ago and it was in rough shape. The greens were in awful shape and the tee boxes were just dirt piles. I'm happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the course. The greens were in excellent shape. A few tee boxes were still a little rough, but the course was great value. Need to get their alcohol license though.

Like many courses, bunkers are hard packed down sand, and one or two actually had a patch of weeds growing in them. Maybe its me, but it seems pre-covid, courses would daily use a tractor to rake the sand in bunkers so it was dryer and fluffier.. Now, almost nodoby does that, at least on public tracks.

Greens were very good!

Wolf Creek should be the first stop after arrival or last stop before departure for a person traveling with golf clubs.

Played Wolf Creek Golf course on the 16th of November 2023.

The course is in good shape and the staff was very friendly and got me checked in very quickly. Paid 49 dollars to play on 2 hours notice.

The practice range is great for warm up but has a severe drop off. Small bucket of range balls is 6.00.

I played 18 holes from the Blues about 6200 yards. The tee boxes I found to be level and in good shape overall. The fairways are cut nicely. The greens are on the smaller size and are very fast, bring your approach game or your will miss but you do have some room for error and the collars are cut close to allow for using your putter from just off the green from most holes. The roughs have a lot of leaves which is hard to manage and can be expected this time of year in Georgia . The maintenance crew is keeping up because the greens and fairways were clear and playable.

Pace of play wasn’t an issue until I caught a 4 some that was holding up the course for the last four holes making a backlog of several groups. Simple fix, just a lack etiquette something not on the staff.

Overall it was an enjoyable round. Would definitely go back soon and also recommend this course to anyone looking to play golf on an interesting and challenging course.

That's correct- no beer!!

The course is very funky- huge slopes and great greens. Very fun track to play!

Always fun playing at Wolf Creek; challenging course and nice scenes on the back nine that is very close to home.

Course is in solid shape , greens are really solid/consistent.

Only complaints for a: Saturday 10:45 round was pace of play. 5 hr round but to be expected in Atlanta for public course. Also they need to figure out a system for the blind shots , as that tends to slow down play as well.

Overall good experience and will be back
