Wolf Creek Golf Course

The course is in good shape except for the tee boxes. They need more sunlight for the Bermuda grass to grow. They have new carts with a GPS in them. However, if you go a little off the fairway the GPS will not allow you to go too far. It’s kind of aggravating

Personally, I am not going to come back. Pace of play is terrible. The guys that regularly play there are awful and have no etiquette.

The newer greens are still slow, but you can tell after another season of growth, they're going to be excellent. Course in good shape. Staff was friendly. Played in 3:30.

I really enjoyed my round of golf yesterday. To my surprise, the greens are in the best shape ever. I’ve been playing golf at Wolf Creek since 2005 and the greens have never been this good. I love the layout of the course. The fairways are in pretty good shape; some of the tee boxes need a lot of help (balled spots covered with sand); bunkers are well-constructed; but the greens are in unbelievable shape.

Course is looking good. Tee boxes are being worked and the only real issue. They are leaving the fairways and greens pretty long which takes away a bit from the experience because they are so slow. If they cut them low and made them fast it would be a 5/5 experience.

Course was in much better condition than my recollection. Fairways were firm, rough was fair and greens were rolling true. This course is a true test of shot making skills given the number of blind shots and forced carries.

Pretty dang good course conditions, friendly staff, great (difficult) layout. Great value for the money.

Denise at the pro shop was super friendly and helpful! Course was in good shape especially the greens. The golf cart GPS system was very helpful.

First time playing Wolf Creek. Great value for the money. Course is in above average conditions for a muni. Most greens are in very shape, roll true. Played on a Sunday, so pace was a little slow. Still managed to finish in 5 hours. I’ll play it again, next time passing through Atlanta.

Fun course to play, staff was very friendly and helpful. The greens were very fast but well maintained. Pin positions were NOT the greatest.

I'm a regular as is my family who also live in the neighborhood. I've been to about ten different courses over the last year and Wolf Creek is by far the most consistent place around. The staff are friendly, the greens are challenging, the Par 5 opening hole drives me and my wife crazy but we'll be getting that birdie soon enough! I hope the folks there never change! Yesterday we saw another set of twin deer and their mother!

Y'all should give this course a shot! I'm glad we did!

The staff was friendly. Short on cart key’s however the situation was resolved quickly. No water coolers on course due to a health issue, yet the course provided two bottles of water with each cart to tee off. Course was in really solid condition with the heat. Greens were trimmed short and fast. Enjoyed the course and will play again.

I just played a round of golf at the much improved Wolf Creek Golf course. The greens are in great condition! I was warmly greeted by Denise and she updated me on the carts and course improvements. I have always enjoyed the customer service from Denise, but the greens had deteriorated and we stayed away from Wolf Creek for months. It was a good golf outing. Note, the prices have changed since my last visit.

From the start of own round, Denise, who works as the assistant for taking tee time reservations and payments, provided excellent customer service. Told us about the new carts and the condition of the course.

By the way, the new carts are great! They have gps, with an electronic scoring feature as well as yardage indicator. Knowing your yardage should help speed the game up for most players.

Additionally, complimentary ice cold bottled water was provided in the new carts, a nice touch.

The course was in really good shape. The tee boxes were in good condition, fairways were cut and in good condition. The sand traps were filled with a course sand, but I not going to knock them for that. Finally, the greens have been transformed into some of the best greens I've seen at Wolf Creek for sometime and very comparable to any well maintained golf course greens in the metro area. The greens were fast, which I prefer.

With improvements usually comes with a price increase; however; the cost of $39 for senior's is a little higher than it used to be, but comparable to other well maintained courses. Keep up the good work.
