Wolf Creek Golf Course

Almost every single green was absolutely destroyed by either a fungus or some thing else. They were almost completely dirt and sand. Horrible conditions. The fairways were in great shape however.

Only 1/2 the course open which isn’t listed on Golfnow. The greens that are open are deplorable. The grass isn’t mowed. They no longer serve alcohol. It’s really gone wayyyy downhill since it was bought out. Will never play here again

All of the greens were in bad shape after they were aerated. It will probably take a few months for the greens to be ready to play again.

This used to be one of my favorite courses in Atlanta...solid layout and fairly challenging. Fairways usually cut nice and tough greens.

The course is not playable right now. Every green is simply an area of sand and no grass. Played here a few months ago and this was not the case. Not sure if they got a fungus...or it's another issue. I hope they are able to save the greens, as this is a great course when the conditions are up to par.

Feel bad for the front desk staff, as it seems they are taking the bulk of frustration around this. They need to have something on their website or an automated email with some transparency on the situation. Charging almost $60 on the weekend for this course is criminal.

We played this course a few months ago and it was in great shape, not so today. The greens have been aerated and the staff didn't provide any warning to us, in addition to charging full price. Several holes had upsetting on sand like wew were on the beach, you have no idea where the ball will end up. On one hole (#5) the green is completely shut down and your putting on the grass of the fairway, as fluffy as they are.

This is not the way a premium course should operate. I've warned every golfer that I know to stay away ..... until this course improves.......

Decent course with beautiful fairways, but the greens are in terrible shape. Most greens are sand/dirt pits. If I would've known this was the condition of the greens, I would've spent $60 to play elsewhere.

Won't be returning this season, may try again next year.

We had a nice casual round. The greens were sanded so didn’t realize that prior to booking. Old information on website on GOLFNOW.

Starter warned us that greens would be sandy. Wish he would’ve told us that most are nearly unplayable. To charge full price is just flat out wrong. One green is so bad, it’s blocked off and they made a makeshift green at the end of the fairway, outlined with yellow paint. Just count 2-3 putts per hole here because you’re putting on a beach every time. The layout and course has so much potential. Been 5 years or so since I’ve played here and it’ll be at least 4-5 years before I return.

If there was a choice of giving them minus negative stars they would get minus 5! On May 19th 2022, I picked up my Chicago boys from the airport and wanted to make sure we got a round in quickly and chose Wolf Creek. After finishing our round we headed up to drop off the clubs in our truck and noticed 6-8 people around our vehicle. When we got closer we noticed window glass around the driver side window. Again, I picked up my boys from the airport and we had their backpacks and luggage inside the truck. Well it was stolen and no doubt an inside job - funny the cameras weren't working that day! The 3 bags and 4 backpacks had a value in excess of $8,000. There was also another car next to mine which also was broken into and their laptops were stolen. The GM Dante was worthless claiming they didn't have insurance to cover our loss and evidently this is not the first time something like this has happened based on what Dante told me. So do yourself a favor an choose a different course.

Did not advise greens being overseeded before payment

This course is normally a good highly recommended course. This time the course condition was brutally bad. The greens if I give them a rating is zero. Not one green was close to being in playing shape. I wanted to turn around after the first 3 holes, but I kept on expecting things to get better. It didn't it got worst. I wanted to ask for my money back simply because the people working there didn't say a word about how bad the greens were.

I have played this course for a number of years. Sad to say the greens have been lost on most of the holes. The staff was nice however they should have told my group about the conditions. I will not play here again until the greens have been replaced or repaired

Course was recently sold and maintenance is in really rough shape. I typically play here 4-5 times a year and love the layout. Hopefully the new owners restore this to what it used to be. They may lose their greens with the shape they’re in right now. Don’t waste your money. Charging $60 for playing with diseased greens and a temporary green on 5 is a joke. It’s a $25/30 course right now. Also not providing water coolers in GA in the summer time is nuts. No beer or alcohol sales. I really hope they turn things around because it’s a beautiful layout to waste with these conditions. I won’t go back until I hear some better things.

The greens were near unplayable and even the ones that were playable were fuzzy as my grandma’s shag carpet. If they fixed the greens, it’d be a great track

Playing here was literally majestic! We started early at 7:30 and we were met by the most beautiful fog that made it feel surprisingly tranquil. Entire course was beautifully manicured and every contour was delightfully well placed. Water and great usage of the natural environment all coupled with a very challenging course that was thought-provoking throughout. Definitely will return and telling all my friends!

Minor greens issues (fungus) on the front 9 being addressed, otherwise great conditions and layout. Several risk reward short par fours and go for it par fives for long hitters. Lots of fun.
