Wolf Creek Golf Course

They should've had a note in golf now about green conditions because they were bald and patchy. it's the worst I've ever seen wolf creek greens look. The starter told us before we started that they are about to get Bermuda greens. I guess that makes sense not to invest money in your current greens if you are getting new ones. I will wait to come back after the renovation.

They have let all but 1 or 2 of their greens get completely burnt to the point that they're unplayable.

Can’t believe this place is actually charging money to play here now. Greens are all sand and dirt - literally. Check google for pics. Golf now won’t let me load any.

This course is absolutely awful — I usually give reviews and while others say the greens are awful I tend not to find them to be that bad. These are a different story, when I say bare I mean NO grass on greens /None.

Straight sand/ not too soil/ straight sand and not like some courses where they have 1 or 2 that are bad. But every single green in a mess. NO WATER ANYWHERE/ Not a single drinking water station on any of the holes/ and no free water cups in the club house so you have to buy bottle :( / which is overpriced and pool water. When I arrived the staff asked me a 25 year old man if I was old enough to play here, and even though my tee time was 3:20 stopped me several times to remind me to get carts in by 8:30… they have 6-8 Marshall’s driving around watching people/ and other people that “work for the course” that will just fill in and play holes/ I group of these “workers” cut us off/ and then another set came behind us. They where filling up the ball washer fluids.

Literally the worst course I have played in metro/ outskirts of Atlanta in the last two years. Will never be back. Rude staff/ awful conditions/ and $45 for this…. Many better courses around.

Flat out. There are literally no greens. Completely toast. Do not waste your money. No mater how low the rate is.

Course was great, course pace was excellent, some of the greens were over sanded and one green was temporarily moved to a new stop that was not good for putting. the overall course condition was great and I had a wonderful outing.

I honestly think that they should readjust the green fee. The greens had no grass.

I read the reviews that said the greens were bad, but I had never played the course even though it is close to my house. It’s all true, the greens are bad. Really bad. You are basically putting on a beach. The greens are all sand, very little if any grass. My T-Rime was 9:30 and they still had the crew out mowing the fairways. ( me and my partner had to hold a few times and wait for the guy to finish) it’s a beautiful, challenging course that has unlimited potential. Just needs a little more attention to the greens and this place would be the jewel of the southside.

All the greens were gone and they even had 1 temporary green. Easily the worse greens I have seen and not one employee gave us a heads up about the condition. I have played the course many times so this was very disappointing

It's been several years since I last played this course. Apparently, quite a bit has changed...for the worse. The greens were horrible and could hardly be called greens. Perhaps 4 greens were actually grass. The rest were splotches of sand with an occasional drop of green. It was very disappointing. Though the staff was very courteous, I will not make the drive again.

Greens were in brutal shape. Scorched & full of sand. 15/17 were unplayable (1 “green” was actually the end of a fairway - not exactly putting friendly)

Cart attendant on the course mentioned there was an ownership change, so they were in process to sell beers on course, and couldn’t take a credit card.

Handful of times had golf balls swallowed up by the fairway being too long.

Played here about 6 weeks back too. But I won’t be back until other reviews indicate fixes are in place. Had we been made aware of condition when checking in, probably would have been more forgiving with the rating. But no heads up was given.

Almost every single green was absolutely destroyed by either a fungus or some thing else. They were almost completely dirt and sand. Horrible conditions. The fairways were in great shape however.

Only 1/2 the course open which isn’t listed on Golfnow. The greens that are open are deplorable. The grass isn’t mowed. They no longer serve alcohol. It’s really gone wayyyy downhill since it was bought out. Will never play here again

All of the greens were in bad shape after they were aerated. It will probably take a few months for the greens to be ready to play again.

This used to be one of my favorite courses in Atlanta...solid layout and fairly challenging. Fairways usually cut nice and tough greens.

The course is not playable right now. Every green is simply an area of sand and no grass. Played here a few months ago and this was not the case. Not sure if they got a fungus...or it's another issue. I hope they are able to save the greens, as this is a great course when the conditions are up to par.

Feel bad for the front desk staff, as it seems they are taking the bulk of frustration around this. They need to have something on their website or an automated email with some transparency on the situation. Charging almost $60 on the weekend for this course is criminal.
