About
Since 2001 Wolf Creek has earned a reputation as one of the toughest golf tracks in the Atlanta Metro area. Wolf Creek boasts a 7028 yard par 72 championship layout with bent grass greens which is just one of the reasons Golf Digest selected Wolf Creek as the best course near Hartsfield Jackson Airport. The Mike Young Designs course incorporates both low flatlands holes, bordering many wetland areas, and holes with dramatic elevation changes. Wolf Creek has four sets of tees to accommodate players of all skill levels. A practice range and practice green allow for serious work on your golf game or just a warm-up before your round.

Golfer Reviews
solid play that is worth a referral
I have not played here in several years but remember it being in good shape. We have had a wet summer so all the area courses have been in great shape. Wolf Creek was no different except for a few items mentioned below.
The pace of play was excellent as we had the first tee time. The fairways and greens were in very nice shape. Only two gripes on course conditions. People who play this course do not fix their ball marks on the greens. The greens are in great shape but sadly covered in damaged spots from unrepaired ball marks. I spent a few minutes on every green just trying to fix as many in my area as I could. This is not the course management's fault in my opinion but lazy golfers. The other small critique is that some of the tee boxes were in rough shape due to lack of sun.
I'll definitely come back to play again. It is a difficult course with old-school small greens and many different hole lengths to challenge a more advanced golfer. From a course layout perspective, we played the blues and the 8th hole does not appear to be measured on the card correctly. It was listed at just over 400 yards downhill. I hit a 3 wood about 230 down the middle. When I got to my ball, we still had 225 to the pin which is middle depth. Just didn't seem correct unless the blue tees were pushed way back.
Good Day at Wolf Creek
We enjoyed the course but it was wet and it was cart path only. That made for a 5 hour round.
Wet. but great course
Course took heavy rain for 2 days. Were not even sure that it would be open from rain. Played very well even though it was cart path only. Just very long due to no roll in wet fairways. Greens were great.
Great Course for the $$$
1st time and Great course to play, grounds are in great condition, very open layout so if you keep it in the fairway you can score low. A great mixture of long and short holes, alot of dogleg holes that challenge you placement. Very nice. Play and enjoy.
It takes a lot to make me quit on around but they manage it today..Not even sure how they played that slow… Saw what I thought was a Marshall But certainly didn’t do anything to speed up the pace. As for the value for the money well if you only play nine to pay for 18 Value drops precipitously.. Course conditions are OK greens are soft and unfortunately nobody can or will fix a ball mark
Wouldn’t honor price that was given
Booked TeeOff for 32.00 Monday senior special. Got to course and they would honor price charge my group 45.00 per. Won’t be coming back
No time soon… greens were ok. Fairways need a lot of cutting. Lost balls in tall grass on fairways.
When the new management gets the greens bette and people fix their divots it will great again like 2 yrs ago!! It looks and pays better than it did 3 weeks. Great course!!
From airplane to golf cart in 10 mins
This was the third time playing and did not disappoint. Challenging but not ridiculous elevations which is fun for all levels. But convenience if traveling to Atlanta area why not play around the corner. Staff was awesome and whipping up some great smelling BBQ.
Not up to par in many ways
New owners, but same old low energy, not much changed…. This is a good course, but needs something or someone special to take to new level…
Challenging
The course and greens were in good condition. Very challenging off the fairway as the ball sits deep in medium cut rough. Scored 7-8 shots higher than usual as several well placed balls were lost over a hill or in small stream cutting through fairway. Fun day overall.
Curious to why they wouldn't honor the Senior rate Monday special of 32.00 ?
