About
Since 2001 Wolf Creek has earned a reputation as one of the toughest golf tracks in the Atlanta Metro area. Wolf Creek boasts a 7028 yard par 72 championship layout with bent grass greens which is just one of the reasons Golf Digest selected Wolf Creek as the best course near Hartsfield Jackson Airport. The Mike Young Designs course incorporates both low flatlands holes, bordering many wetland areas, and holes with dramatic elevation changes. Wolf Creek has four sets of tees to accommodate players of all skill levels. A practice range and practice green allow for serious work on your golf game or just a warm-up before your round.

Golfer Reviews
Great Value @ Wolf Creek
Enjoyed getting out early mid-week to beat the heat & play quickly. Unfortunately the driving range was closed prior to our time (did not appear to be open at end of round either) & the groundskeeping team was working on the practice green so we weren't able to use any of the practice facility before teeing off.
Most tee boxes were in OK shape with a few notable exceptions that were either uneven or had little grass coverage. Fairways were in good shape, rough presents a real challenge/penalty for misses. Greens also were rolling well in spite of the moderate amount of unrepaired ball mark scattered around them.
Overall, enjoyable & great value for the round.
Good but not great
Course was fairly maintained the rough has a lot of grass clippings on the lawn which makes it very difficult to find your ball if not hit in the fairway. No water or cart girl on the course so plan accordingly.
Could not get a raincheck
The course was very nice. Challenging and long! We got rained on going to the 11th hole and was told by the staff that we could not get a raincheck because we had finished more than 9 holes. There was no discussion to try and work with us at all! I will not be coming back to this gold course again nor will I recommend it for that very reason. Customer service means a lot to me!
GolfNow Three some
Pace of play was great, not a course I would recommend walking. The tenth hole does not go by the clubhouse, so take something to drink (no cart person or water to drink). 17 and 18 are two par 5’s with an amazing view standing on the 17 green, you can look up the fairway to the 18th green.
Challenging and fun
First time playing Wolf Creek, and it’s definitely one of the better public courses I’ve played in Atlanta. Pace was a little slow, but other than that, hard to beat for the price.
Unfortunate
There were 5 golfers waiting in the parking lot when I arrived. The clubhouse had not even opened yet. The range was closed but they sold range balls. I hit mine anyway because you shouldn’t sell balls at the range if you know it’s closed. Additionally, I paid for myself and the two friends I was playing with. My friends arrived a little later than I did. They charged them again after I paid for them already. Great course layout. The staff just isn’t very good.
