About
Since 2001 Wolf Creek has earned a reputation as one of the toughest golf tracks in the Atlanta Metro area. Wolf Creek boasts a 7028 yard par 72 championship layout with bent grass greens which is just one of the reasons Golf Digest selected Wolf Creek as the best course near Hartsfield Jackson Airport. The Mike Young Designs course incorporates both low flatlands holes, bordering many wetland areas, and holes with dramatic elevation changes. Wolf Creek has four sets of tees to accommodate players of all skill levels. A practice range and practice green allow for serious work on your golf game or just a warm-up before your round.

Golfer Reviews
Bad Greens, Good Ownership
We love Wolf Creek. On this day the greens just weren't what they usually are. Sandy, bumpy, aerated and full rate for the round with no heads up conditions.
Stay on the fairway at all cost.
Thickest rough in America. I was one foot off the fairway and could barley see the top of the ball. Great staff, great layout. Had an awesome time. Side note: course ends with two par 5’s gave me a chance to gain some strokes.
Nice track
The fairways were beautiful, rough was very unforgiving putting an emphasis on accuracy off the tee. I really liked that, the greens were terrible. Several large dead patches, no one apparently fixes their divots on this course. The layout was great, overall if the greens were in better shape I would think the price would be acceptable. As it is, I don’t think it’s worth the price.
Birthday play
It was an outing for my buddy's 50th. We had a great time. Enjoyed the course. Very well maintained and challenging. Will definitely play it again.
Great Course
Drove from Covington to play on this side of the city and was thoroughly impressed. Great course, very well maintained. Perfect day out with the fellas. Will definitely play again.
Great Course
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL course. The staff was nice and attentive and it was a lot of fun for a beginner like me.
Solid value for a good course
Today was my first time playing Wolf Creek and I was pleasantly surprised. The course was very well maintained from hole 1 to 18. The fairways were cut and greens were in very good shape minus a few ball markings that weren’t repaired. Overall the pace of play was very good and I was able to finish my round in about 3.5 hours. I would definitely recommend this course for anyone looking for a nice relaxing round of golf with friends. I will also add it’s a premium on keeping your ball in the fairway because finding your ball in the rough can be a challenge. I also think for $42 you can’t find a better value in the Atlanta area.
Fun to Play
I play Wolf Creek a couple of times a year and this time I brought along a friend who'd never played the course before. I promised him the course would be in great condition and that he'd enjoy the varied terrain that it offers. I was right about the terrain. He kept saying, "This is like a South Carolina course with all the wetlands but when you're up on the ridge, it's a totally different feel." Couldn't agree more with that. Course condition, this time around, was only so-so. The greens have taken a beating with all the rain and the amount of play the course gets. That said, they still putt relatively true, but they haven't held up like Bermuda greens. The rough was especially thick and high, owing again, I think, to all the rain. Avoid it if you can. Also, know it is no accident that #8 is the #1 handicap hole, and #17 is the #2 handicap. Par those two holes, and you've really accomplished something. I look forward to getting back out to Wolf Creek later this fall when the greens have had a chance to recover and the Bermuda has begun to go dormant.
