About
Since 2001 Wolf Creek has earned a reputation as one of the toughest golf tracks in the Atlanta Metro area. Wolf Creek boasts a 7028 yard par 72 championship layout with bent grass greens which is just one of the reasons Golf Digest selected Wolf Creek as the best course near Hartsfield Jackson Airport. The Mike Young Designs course incorporates both low flatlands holes, bordering many wetland areas, and holes with dramatic elevation changes. Wolf Creek has four sets of tees to accommodate players of all skill levels. A practice range and practice green allow for serious work on your golf game or just a warm-up before your round.

Golfer Reviews
Down hill
I haven’t played this course for a few months and the recent reviews didn’t look good. The tee boxes and fairways were ok but the greens were terrible. Pitch marks, burnt areas covered with clippings and sprayed green to disguise. Now worth anywhere near the $75 for weekend rates and not worth midweek rates either.
Greens need some love
I’ve played this course numerous times, but I must say this is the worst shape that I’ve seen these greens in. Some are diseased. Many have un-repaired ball marks. They are “furry” and need to be rolled. The weather has been great, so rain can not be used as an excuse. Overall, the fairways are in great shape and the rough has grown to just over an inch, so you have to keep an eye out for your ball if you hit it in there. Still love the layout and the course overall...just need to give the greens some attention
Used to be nice
Mow the rough. Whole group lost at least 10 that were decent shots right off the fairway. Couldn’t find anything. Even lost a few in the fairway. Enjoyed this track several yrs ago but I won’t be going back. Don’t know if it’s been going downhill for awhile or maybe lack of workers from the COVID crap. They had the carts out late this morning so there was 4 foursomes teeing off at the same time so that makes for a long day. The only positive was the cart lady. Saw her four times.
Solid course
Had a great time playing this course. Beautiful layout, well placed hazards. Traps were a mess, and wished there were refreshments at the turn.
Final chance
I’ve given Wolf Creek a fair amount of opportunities over the past few years. I’ve determined that Wolf Creek is ok with being just “adequate.” Conditions are usually fine, staff is good, value is ok. Nothing here stands out as above average. I’ll be taking Wolf Creek out of my rotation indefinitely until I hear things have significantly changed.
Solid course, needs some TLC
I really enjoyed all 7,000 yards of this course, it just needs some TLC to be in better condition. The course is in fairly good shape and being towards the end of summer, I am sure it is difficult to keep in perfect condition. For $43, I would definitely play again.
Very bad condition!!!
This golf is probably beautiful but the golf course has not been mowed for days! !!! Impossible to play on this condition!
Range was closed , the raison was the rain condition!
The course was open but on golf path only.
On the first tee, the grass is so high , your ball on the tee was touching the grass...
No maintenance on this course, that’s a shame!!!
After the first hole, we decided to go back and stop playing!
We had a hot deal and hope GolfNow will have the honesty to refund a part of our money.
Great layout
Course is one of the best layouts. Always nice fairways greens were in good shape for the summer since they are bent greens
Starter was a great guy who told you what to expect. Really beautiful course. Players should learn to repair their divots plus one on the greens.
A few greens were in pretty bad shape for the greens fee but all in all people should head out and enjoy playing this course. It's a good challenge
Great course
Great lay out ! Super soft greens. Hit it in the fairway! Rough is super challenging.
Some greens are in rough shape.
Divots, divots, divots
Title says it all. Good layout. Lush fairways. But so many unrepaired and under-repaired divots on the greens.Probably fixed two or 3 for every putt I had. Gets really old after awhile.
Tees and greens need some tender loving care
I’ve played Wolf Creek many times. Great layout and fun to play. The greens are not in ideal condition primarily due to poor course etiquette from GOLFERS, not the course maintenance. It’s so easy to repair ball marks. It’s a shame more people don’t do it. The tees however are another story. Some just worn and need some TLC. They charge $74 plus taxes for weekend play. Overall I will certainly return.
