Wolf Creek Golf Course

It is a well maintain golf course. From the tips it plays around 7000, its one of the longest golf course I have seen around the Atlanta Area that is not private. Greens have their slope, and they are quick, so stay below the hole. I was playing by myself and played 18 holes in around 2;30.

Came out on a Saturday morning as a single (new to Atlanta) Was sent out as a single between foursomes. Round took almost 5 hours. Also had my tee time start changed by the course. It will probably be a while before I head back there.

Really liked this course. Great staff, really interesting holes with lots of challenges - fun for everyone but tough to score well.

I have a love/hate relationship with this course. It's a fun track and the greens are in great shape, but it's always understaffed. We arrived at 8:30am on a Sunday and were told there was a 20 minute wait for range balls. Then I waited to pay my green fee while the guy running the register left to make someone else a sandwich. On my last visit, the woman working at the register didn't know how to read a tee sheet and couldn't tell me if I'd been paired with anyone else. Also, very limited practice area and gas powered carts.

Played here when in Atlanta for business. Great value & interesting layout. Friendly staff & local players, would recommend playing Wolf creek

Played the day before Christmas, course was in great shape! Greens were rolling true and fairways were in good condition.

very nice layout I really enjoyed the par 3's. Plenty of elevation changes. The fairways and rough were pretty darn good considering time of year and weather. The greens were quite slow and looked shaggy like they had not been cut but did run true. These greens will hold a shot .. I backed a SW up 15 feet on one hole. There are numerous greens with backstops you can trow your shot into. Overall a very nice course a bit pricey but very nice.

Usually a good experience at Wolf.....not so much this time as my car was broken into while I was on the course. Sad.....

greens and fairways were excellent. cant believe more people dont play this course daily. i played saturday and monday with great pace of play. ill be back

Save your money until cooler weather; bent greens and they're in HORRIBLE shape.

Nice layout. Too bad the greens were in bad shape. Lot of blind shots. We paired up with a single that helped us to know what we couldn't see. The rest of the course was in good shape. The staff, especially the lady who signed us in were very friendly.

First time playing this course after hearing good things from friends who play regularly. Had 9am tee time and arrived 40 minutes early - no problem getting on ahead of schedule as it was not crowded. Mike in the Pro Shop was extremely helpful and very friendly; he gave tips on problem holes and clear direction on where range, first tee, carts were located. Course itself was in very good shape - fairways were excellent; ball sat up nicely for approach shots. There were a small handful of greens with heat damage, but it only affected putting on #11 (I believe) - a short par 3 with dramatic elevation change. The course itself had a really nice layout, with a number of blind tee shots, some short par 4s that reward brave shot-making, a handful of true birdie holes, and challenging par 5s. I found the front 9 more difficult than the back but it may have just been due to it being a new course for me. Can't wait to go back - yes it's slightly higher than many in the area, but it's worth the expense. Carts have accurate GPS, and course guide book is very helpful to have!

I played here last minute before my flight left. The manager did a great job of accommodating me and making me feel like I was important. Very friendly, and capable. The course was in great shape, the super does a good job. The greens were recovering in some spots but those things happen. The course grabbed my attention and never let go. I was very entertained and had a great time. Highly recommended.

Fantastic layout. Captured and maintained my interest throughout. Course was in good condition. This course would demand double what I paid in other areas. Even better than the course was the manager and staff. Took great care to make me feel at home. Very personable. I only reserve 5 stars for something truly spectacular. This is a solid 4.

The greens on this course are small and very neglected. Be aware of numerous blind t-shots. There really is no club house, just a small (over priced) snack and pro shop.

Greens are in terrible shape. They are bare and it was like putting on compacted mud. I cant believe the course is charging full price. Dont be fooled! This is not up to standards that I expect in a $60 round.

I have to separate my review in this fashion. From the tee boxes the fairways and rough even the bunkers are in great shape. The greens however are NOT a couple of the greens are really showing the stress of the summer heat. the one that are un blemished are just plain bumpy and slow. even the hot deals for this course are over priced in my opinion.

Played here for the first time! The course was in great shape in spite of a strong thunderstorm the night before. The storm had damaged trees and washed out bunkers. However, the fairways and tee boxes were in excellent shape, albeit a little wet. The bent grass greens were good too, with only a few showing signs of extreme heat and humidity. The layout was beautiful with a mix of links style and rolling hills. There were a number of blind shots due to hilly terrain and sharp doglegs. All in all, it's a must play in the Atlanta area!
