The course is better than last year, but the greens still need a lot of work to get them back to what they once were.

I enjoyed the course layout with the nice change of elevation and contoured greens. The greens need some work but rolled relatively nicely. Overall i enjoyed the course and would play it again.

If you prefer to hit off concrete on the fairways and poor painted greens with severe damage.. this is your course… was soooo much better a few months back.. but was a disappointment with the price to play there… not worth the drive.

I’ve been playing the course for 5 years now. With each step forward there have been two steps backward. My recent round was one step forward. Most of the greens were puttable.

There was about 50% grass coverage on the fairways. The practice green and chipping area both showed improvement. Tees, rough, and bunkers were all in poor shape. Unfortunately, the cycle has repeated itself time and time again and I almost expect that the course conditions will decline again over the next few months. Let’s hope that a trend of improvement begins! I think, however, without a serous infusion of capital, VH will continue to be a poorly conditioned club with a great layout.

The greens are showing signs of improvement. Rolling them will be a big plus. Fairways and tees are still pretty bad. Rough is years from being acceptable. If the owner would put a focused improvement effort to roll the greens, plant grass in the fairways and redo the tees, the course, which is a great track, would attract hundreds of central Florida golfers. Greens fees could be doubled and local memberships would take hold.

The course has recovered nicely from the past hurricanes and poor weather. Staff was very friendly. There were a few "rough patches" but overall in good shape.

I want to love this course because it is a challenging layout, but I haven’t seen any real progress since I was here 2 months ago. Instead of really fixing the issues on the course, they continue to make half assed attempts at repairs. Message to management and owner, hire the best golf course superintendent you can get and give them the money to make the course a golf destination again or you will end up being another Glen Abby.

Front nine Greens suck. Not grass, some kind of mold. ??? Patches of new sod. Used to be a nice course. No money, I guess. Way over priced. Worth a bucket of balls. Nothing good here. Golf now is crazy charging those prices.

The course was in ok shape but the green where pretty bad they had lots of sand spots, bumpy and pretty slow I know it’s winter but it’s still really bad for winter

Great design and wonderful place to practice. Hard pan fairways and greens penalize good shots. If you accept higher scores for the fun of a great course design I recommend Victoria Hills golf course.

4 hours and 43 minutes to play 16 holes on a Friday. The course had a scramble in front of us. The Starter said it would be slow for the first two holes but it would open up after that. It did not. We waited on every shot and had to quit after 16 holes because the sun was setting and it was so dark we could not see where our tee balls were landing. The course knew they had a scramble but never sent a range out to speed them up. Pro shop closed by the time we got in and the lone person at the cart return said he knew the course was "loaded" and then walked away from us.

Got to course 15 minutes before tee time we were told to get in line,20 minutes later we teed off.from then on waited on every shot.there was never less than 3 groups on the hole ,once there were 5 . We played till dark only 16 holes,6pm we left.

Played this course in 2024 and gave a really poor review as condition of course was terrible! Decided to retry a year later and course condition was vastly improved!
