Victoria Hills Golf Club located in Deland has jaw-dropping beauty. Golfers will appreciate Roland Garl's vigorous bunkering, which oscillates between the expansive and the intricate, depending on the hole. An array of pot bunkers, waste bunkers, native wetlands, water sprays, bunkers integrated within a natural setting, and elevation changes rarely seen on a Florida golf course await you. Garl's course is graceful and feminine

Victoria Hills could easily be called "The State of Florida's Garden of Golf,"- inland settings such as this are virtually unprecedented in this state. Yet while the splendor and natural beauty of the property are notable, this is not simply eye candy and lazy golf. Victoria Hills, as one player put it, "is a blast to play". In any evaluation, it's difficult to imagine how a golfer would not rate a round here as one of their most enjoyable in Florida.

This was the first time I played Victoria hills it has a really nice layout it makes you hit the ball straight if you don't hit it straight you're off to the side but you normally don't lose the ball because you're in a sand trap that's better than water.

This course came from a neighbor that clearly played here a few years ago.

Playing this course, it is hard to believe that they have a greenskeeper or even a maintenance staff. The course is in extremely rough shape, lots of bare patches in the fairways, most of the greens had been chemically burned off & patched where they could, and there was debris all over the course.

Very disappointing, save your money and time.

Course is Improving

The Course is improving. Work is apparent throughout the course. Greens still need work but sod replacement is obvious on some greens. Sand traps are hard as a rock.

Course workers are very friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

Overall experience

Great layout pace of play little over 3 hours for 18 1 green unplayable 2 others so so a lot of water on some holes that being said the course was hit hard by hurricane and is working very hard to fix the problems progress is being made I’m not dissing the course. These are observations I knew this going in. You get what you pay for and the price was right
