Victoria Hills Golf Club located in Deland has jaw-dropping beauty. Golfers will appreciate Roland Garl's vigorous bunkering, which oscillates between the expansive and the intricate, depending on the hole. An array of pot bunkers, waste bunkers, native wetlands, water sprays, bunkers integrated within a natural setting, and elevation changes rarely seen on a Florida golf course await you. Garl's course is graceful and feminine

Victoria Hills could easily be called "The State of Florida's Garden of Golf,"- inland settings such as this are virtually unprecedented in this state. Yet while the splendor and natural beauty of the property are notable, this is not simply eye candy and lazy golf. Victoria Hills, as one player put it, "is a blast to play". In any evaluation, it's difficult to imagine how a golfer would not rate a round here as one of their most enjoyable in Florida.

Cooler weather keeping grass thin

A pretty good day for golf with temps in the 60s. But that means the already thin grass is thinner. Some greens good, others with bare spots definitely affecting roll. Some tee boxes mostly soil. But still enjoy the course layout. One of my favorite back nines in central Florida. I'll be back in a month or so in my regular rotation.

Traps were unkept, green had bare spots and fairways were Sandy with bare areas. The course layout is really nice but overall conditions are poor. This used to be a course to rave about but apparently the focus changed after taking out the pro shop and making it a function room. Poor decisions. With its layout this should be a $50-$60 greens fee but in reality it is worth about $25-$30 a round. Sad because it is and was a nice course.

I used a hot deal and one of ten dollars coupon and paid 19 dollars so for that price and I stay near bye I don't mind the conditions but the course is not in good shape so is not worth the regular price that they are asking

Is sad because is a beautiful layout

What happened??

It was a month since i last played here. The course was coming along well, what happened?? The greens are in rough shape again. It’s gonna get worse now with snowbirds. The pace was horrendous. Won’t be back till at least next year. Shame.

Taking a step backwards

I played here a couple of months ago, and the course, was really starting to come around, The greens were fast and fairly true. This time around not so much. The greens were bumpy, grainy and slow. The Fairways were also spotty in many places, and many of the bunkers are still washed out in many places from the last rain. I hope they get it together and move forward again with their maintenance..

Was back but not sure what happened

Played here 4-5 times in the past 2 months. Course seemed like it was gradually better and better each time. Played this past Saturday morning and it was noticeably a lot worse than the week prior- most of the greens/ tee boxes in pretty rough shape. It still wasn’t that bad but I think $60 was a little high for the condition of the course (it was a Saturday morning so can’t complain too much) Hopefully it gets better I love the layout
