One of the best courses in the area. Fairways are spotty with some hardpan or sandy areas but overall not bad. Greens had been recently sanded so there are working on them. Greens are challenging when right. Some of the bunkers were not fit to hit out of. Will play there again.

Few damaged area under repair.Really dry! Needs water badly.Some tee boxes and sand traps were in rough shape.

This course has fallen way down from the eras when I used to play it from 2010--20. It used to be beautiful- not so much now. The fairways are full of dirt holes, and the greens are spotting.

The pace of play was slow and we waited to tee off on almost every hole. Disappointing.

Nothing everyone already doesn’t know but will this course ever come back?! Some of the roughest fairways you’ll ever see, bumpy and hard, they charge a premium but have no premium amenities.

No cart girl, the turns always closed, range is very outdated, the sand is solid no longer sand, it’s just gone down hill and it’s such a fun course, hope it’ll come back to life one day, maybe all that money we spend to play on a course that’s worse than Glenn Abbey was being saved for years to renovate the entire course?!!!!!

I have played this course on and off for 6 or 7 years. Fairways and tee boxes were always hit or miss but greens were always fast. Love fast greens. Played with a friend after the November rain dump in central florida and I would say fairways were in best position in last 6 or 7 years. Greens were very fast which is always my preference. Hopefully now that the retention pond construction appears to complete on hole 4 they can continue improve conditions on this course. When this course is in great condition it is probably top 10 in Orlando area you can play.

This course has fallen into disrepair over the last few years, but there are signs the ownership is trying to make improvements. The greens are in better shape than the last time I played here, about four months ago, but the fairways are still in ragged shape and the tee boxes are really bare.

I have been playing this course for the past four years and have seen nothing but decline in the course conditions However, this past week I’ve seen improvement in a few different areas. First the bridge has been repaired on the back nine, which to me indicates a commitment of the ownership to improve the course. The greens were in fairly good shape. The Fairways are still leaving a lot to be desired. Tees were also a bit rough and the practice areas, nothing to speak of. I am hoping that the Ownership/Management will continue to make improvements on this track since it is a terrific layout, and I hope to play there in the future.

Seems the owner has loosened the purse strings a bit. They fixed the Bridge and building a much needed small Pro-Shop! The fairways are still terrible but the biggest problem is for some strange reason they keep cutting the fairways too short and not treating for weeks often enough. Either they do not now how to adjust the mowers or they lack the knowledge. Short grass = short roots!!! 15 of the Greens are pretty good, 2 need treatment and 17 is just horrible, needs a lot of work. Seems they have a very high staff turnover rate and the reason is management. They are also clueless about setting the tees so they do not get torn up and in bad shape! So I have reviewed before and willing to say it is better but needs a brain-trust that make things better and have some simple common sense.

This once magnificent course has been reduced to a goat track. The fairways have some grass with many bare spots. Why can’t they keep grass alive there?

It was great to see active work being done on the course. Spoke to some of the grounds crew and thanked them for their efforts.

5th hole is an absolute disaster but other than that things are looking up. Nice to see the fees matching the course conditions.

Fairways and tee boxes were generally in poor shape. The greens rolled good in most places but a few times we were putting over large bare patches.

Great customer service from both pro shop and restaurant. Course lay out is nice, lots good views, hills etc. Tee boxes are real bad, fairways are bad, greens rolls pretty true and quick despite being sandy. Overall the price was good and experience was good so I’ll be back, but this course could be so much more if the conditions were better.

Conditions around and on the greens are improving. Some fairways are fair to poor .

This course is fun to play, elevation changes, water, big bunkers, having some wear issues on the fairways but with all the rain and extreme heat can be understood. I live about 50 minutes away and $15 in gas and tolls or I would play here more often. Minor irritation is no carts in parking lot....do try it if you are in the area. If you like the Debary golf and country club, you will like Victoria Hills
