Victoria Hills Golf Club located in Deland has jaw-dropping beauty. Victoria Hills could easily be called "The State of Florida's Garden of Golf,"- inland settings such as this are virtually unprecedented in this state. Yet while the splendor and natural beauty of the property are notable, this is not simply eye candy and lazy golf. Victoria Hills, as one player put it, "is a blast to play". In any evaluation, it's difficult to imagine how a golfer would not rate a round here as one of their most enjoyable in Florida.

Victoria Hills GC
This course used to be a very nice course. Now the fairways and greens are terrible. The worst drape ive ever seen the course in. I would not recommend any of my friends to play there. Thank goodness for Golf Now prices as I would never pay the green fees that Victoria is wanting.
I hope they can get the course back to the shape it was in years ago.

Course is trash. Management sucks and they’re very rude. Do not waste your money.
Needs Maintenance BUT really nice course
The views and layout alone make this course worth it. However the maintenance might be it's downfall. The lay is very challenging and changes from hole to hole. The views range from community rooftops to driving over a swamp. Very scenic course.

Course was terrible. Fairways were not good, Greens all rough and sandy.
A tale of two nines
The front nine was in rough shape. Some greens were really dead and bare. The back nine was in a lot better shape. Still a nice layout and a great price. Not too crowded and pace of play wasn't bad.

Great Layout - Poor Conditions
I see that management responds to some of these reviews. Please respond to the 2 questions that almost everyone has regarding this course. What happened to the Greens? They were pretty good a while back but now they seem to have all gotten BAD. Why are the fairways cut so short? Bermuda grass does not really grow this time of year so STOP cutting them!
I live in the Victoria Park but seldom play here because of the poor conditions. Not sure if the Owner scrimps on maintenance or the Superintendent is just plain bad but what a shame to see this course keep getting worse!

There's nothing to review. No greens, no grass,etc,etc. Close it....

fairway and green in fair condition, but the course layout changeling, and scenic view are good for $20 with cart is very good deal highly recomended for $20 game compare same price with other course I played

Overpriced but Interesting
The course has an interesting layout, with rolling hills and mild elevation not found at most Florida courses. The fairways and greens are currently in rough shape, but it looks like lots of repairs are in the works. I paid for a Medium bucket of range balls and the machine only dispensed 12 balls. After notifying the staff, nothing was done in time for me to head to the first tee (30 minutes). Pace of play was slow when we played, apx 5 hours. (8:30a - 1:30p). I would play this course again next season, hopefully the conditions are better by then.

Great Course but
One of the best courses in the area. Fairways are spotty with some hardpan or sandy areas but overall not bad. Greens had been recently sanded so there are working on them. Greens are challenging when right. Some of the bunkers were not fit to hit out of. Will play there again.
