The Eagles Golf Club - Forest
About
Designed by Ron Garl and Gary Koch, the Forest Course at The Eagles Golf Club features the signature island-green sixth hole which rivals the famous 17th hole at the TPC at Sawgrass. The two outstanding championship courses at The Eagles Golf Club are kept in "tournament condition" year-round. As its name implies, much of Forest course winds through an impressive pine forest.

Course Conditions Have Tanked
I usually try to play the Lakes side because The Forest gets so much traffic and abuse. The tee boxes are sand/dirt pits. This past weekend I went so far as to equate the course conditions to Northdale. Sadly, both are in bad shape but The Forest wants to charge more than other courses around ... even more than the other 18 it maintains in The Lakes? The Forest course is worth no more than $30 a round. The greens are in good shape but even they are showing signs of distress.
Nice course
I have been coming to play here for some time now, it is nice and convenient always a good fun .
Not hard so all skills levels can play it.
Absolutely Perfect
We played the Forest Course and it lived up to the hype. Very challenging layout super fast greens. Couldn’t ask for any better. Next time we’ll play the Lakes Course. Definitely makes The Eagles a regular stop.
Great course to play
The forest course at the Eagles club is a fun, challenging course for all skill levels. The fairways and greens are in beautiful shape. The track layout is fun with lots of doglegs and plenty of challenging bunkers and hazards. Even on a Sunday we played in three and a half hours and were not pushed or held up. I try to play this course when ever I can. There is also lots of wildlife and waterfowl out here to make you feel like your away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A great relaxing place to play.
Nice Course!
First time playing. Course was wet from all the rain but otherwise a very nice course with challenging doglegs. Greens are in great shape. Carts have video and distance markers. Great value on GolfNow. Will be back!
Good Play For The Money!
Rating would have been a 5, but renovations keep the amenities low.
Awesome
Course in excellent condition. Greens fast and firm. Had a discount thru TeeOff clubhouse guy had to physically see my ID or confirmation #. I could not read it to him. That was a first. Maybe he was having a bad day.
Always Fun
Lots of Risk Reward Holes Challenges you Game Green if Great Shape
Tha course has challenging holes.
The course is very challenging fo every level of golf.
Great Fathers Day Afternoon!!!
Joined up with three other guys I didn't know to have a very enjoyable round of golf and enjoying a beautiful day on a scenic golf course. Shot a good score and ended up with far more balls than I lost!! Saw turkeys twice and also deer twice during the afternoon outing!!
Highly recommend both Eagles courses!!!
Surprised at the conditions
This course used to be maintained very. Today’s round was somewhat disappointing. Fairways had a lot of weeds, cow pasture like. Some tee boxes were in very poor condition. The greens were ok. I like the course but overall disappointed in it’s condition.
Best deal
This is the best value on golf now near me. Course in good condition, great pace of play and good golf course layout!.
The course has some interesting holes.
First time playing it but I will definitely be back .The wildlife on the course is beautiful.
