About
Located just north of Tampa Bay Downs, Eagles Golf Club features two 18-hole golf courses surrounded by more than 30 lakes, ponds and canals. Eagles Golf Club's Lakes course sports an abundance of water hazards, elevated greens and many fairway bunkers. Large oaks are scattered throughout.

What happened to the greens
Really like playing both Eagles courses. Had just played the Forest course on Tuesday then played the Lakes course on Thursday. The Forest course was in ok condition but the Lakes course was certainly not. So many baren fairway spots and many of the greens were in atrocious conditions. So many of those greens need to be completely replaced instead of the sloppy patch work installed. Won't be back until l see good reviews again.
Greens poor
Was disappointed in the condition of the greens.
Also at 1 hole there were workers right on the green and they didn't move off while we played.
Poor condition
About half the greens were in bad shape and one was undergoing renovation and was unplayable. Fairways were average. With the poor condition of the greens, I would have expected a discount but didn't get one. I have played here before and this was the worst I have seen it. It's usually in good shape.
Yikes
The course is in shockingly rough shape. Back nine was is a bit better but the front couldn’t be worse. Even if you hit one in the fairway, there’s a good chance you’ll be on a bare patch. The greens were lumpy and unkept with large swaths of dirt patches. They charged me $55 which was $55 too many. Play anywhere else. If you do play the Eagles, try the Forrest. They need to just shut down the lakes. Charging people to play it is downright criminal.
Not worth the money
The greens were in poor shape with lots of dead patches. Yeah, I know, it hasn't rained in a while but seems the other course must have received all the love an attention. Probably won't go back.

Definitely needs to be redone, course wasn’t in the best shape.
Course in bad shape
Tee boxes are lousy and the greens are worse I cant beueve they charge so much for this course $25 is the max for this course it’s a same was a nice course aN the lay out is very nice hopefully it will come back to wat it was couple years ago
Greens/Bunkers-Lakes Course
The course has been in better shape. There were multiple greens on the front that had damage. Greens on the back side were a bit better. The bunker sand was not good. Looks like the bunkers need renovation.. Fairways were OK. A pipe had burst in the clubhouse, so it was closed.. I would recommend the course as I have seen it when it was in better shape, and then it is fun to play
pass for now!
Normally this is "go to" course, however it was in horrible shape, especially the greens. Was very surprised by this. Only good thing was took 2 1/2 hours to play 18 as there was no one else on course and we teed off at 10:30am
Great course for friends and family
Nice layout and nice people. Bring my friends here all the time.
Course condition
I have been playing this course for a number of years. The condition of the fairways and tee boxes are not worth the price.
Worst Condition Golf Course Ever
Not much good to say about this dog track. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were some of the worst we had ever stepped foot on. Admittedly we only paid about $60 to play but that was probably $50 more than we should of.
Very disappointed to say the least and would not entertain the idea of going back to play this course again.
Great place for golf and food
Play frequently and love the course. Conditions are improving under new ownership. My Canadian friends love coming here. Thanks guys

Really nice course to bring guests and friends. Play is fast and greens nice and true
Beach day
We had the impression that we played at the beachfront sand on all greens.
Very slow play
