It’s nice
5 hour round but that is the norm this days,
Course plays nice just be ware of the 5 hours or so round.
Just Okay
Many of the greens seemed to have been diseased. Very tight lies especially around the greens, make this a difficult course for the average golfer.
Great public course
Other than tight fairway lies, which seems to be a problem everywhere in Florida, I found this course challenging and a fair test. The greens are improving and rolling true in most cases. Fairways had some standing water from the storm the night before. Some fairways have an excessive amount of bare sand. But all in all I was quite satisfied.
Poor conditions, several dirt fairways
Hit it in the fairway, oh no! Dirt. No grass. Tee boxes are mostly sand, Areas of water from leaking sprinkler pipes. Trash all over the course. Not well managed and $50? Better options at Crescent Oaks, Westchase, or Fox Hollow.
Half of the greens were in poor shape due to fungus, bare areas snd verticutting. Several tee areas also thin and bare.
Fairways generally good.
Given the condition of the greens they shouldn't be charging full price.
Being worked on!
Good Day. Pace was good. A number of greens being worked on. We will be back.
Lakes course spring break
My son and I played this course for the first time. Weather was threatening but it never rained so the course was wide open. Had fun. Some greens had issues that we could not understand as the next green would be I n good shape. Big gators laying all over the place which was interesting being from KY.
There is another course here “the forest” perhaps it was better as it had more play.
Condition
Course was a bit wet due to heavy rain night before
Some greens under repair but over all great corse
Rough shape
The course was in bad shape. There were many fairways that had little to no grass in multiple large areas. The Greens on the front 9 had lots of sand and lots of areas with little grass. There were lots of standing water on the course due to multiple irrigation leaks.
A great course for friends and family
Great layout and super greens. Tee boxes need a little work but overall a nice course and fun to play.
Course was in rough shape.
Course was in rough shape. Greens had bare spots that looked like they spray painted them green. Fairways were short and in rough shape. I teed off at 7:45 am and didn’t finish till after 1pm. It was a slow backed up round of golf. I paid around $65 for the round, I know I was disappointed as was the other twosome I was paired with. We all said we wouldn’t be back mostly due to the course conditions.
Greens
A couple of greens starting to look like the ones on the Forest course they need attention.
