The Eagles Golf Club - Lakes

Used to play this course regularly but never again. The Twilight price of $40 even felt like a ripoff. Half the fairways were literally sand; the ones that weren’t had massive weeds dotting everywhere. The roughs hasn’t been mowed in a month based on the height of the weeds. Half the tee boxes were sand. What happened to this course?!

The fact they still charge $75 for morning tee times is an outrage. The $20 Par 3 course down the road is in better condition!

So disappointed. This place used to be great, but I was shocked about how bad the tee boxes, fairways and greens are on the Lakes course. I had some out towners in for work and took them here on a whim and I was embarrassed we played there. I would say avoid at all costs and definitely do not pay full price.

Needs rain and better grounds keeping but Overall if you can pay under 40$ it's OK. If paying full price look elsewhere right now.

Great course, friendly staff. Mike the starter was very friendly . Pace of play was a little slow, sonetimes waoted behind 2 grpups on tee..atarter dod tell us aomething abput a car wreck in the entrance ? Will see if it's better next time . Will be back to try again.

Booked a 10am tee time and the 1st tee box was stacked up. Found out they were booking tee times 3 minutes apart. Horrible! Tee boxes were uneven sand pits. Weeds in the middle of the greens. Huge disappointment. Buffalo chicken wrap was pretty good though.

Took my father to play the Lakes course for the first time in several years. Very disappointed in the conditions of the tee boxes. Most were very uneven and had holes or big divots that have not been repaired. The cost to play was way too much for the condition of the course. The positive part was the greeting at the car when we first arrived and the early start we had so we didn’t have to wait to play. Otherwise, not worth the costs to play.

On a side note, very unhappy with the restaurant inside. We tried to have lunch afterwards but we sat at the table waiting on a server for almost 10 minutes while three guys were at the bar being helped. We got up and left.

They we running over 40 minutes late for tee times. No explanation. The course was in terrible condition. We took 2 hrs to play the first 4 holes. I left after 9 brutal holes and will never return. The “pro” in the shop could not have been more unprofessional. Sad

Upon arrival I was greeted by a older grump who said he did not have any carts yet for my tee time. They had an outing and over booked. He put my bag on the ground. This happens all the time here. We waited 30 minutes past the tee time to get a cart (dirty) then waited again to tee off, now 50 minutes past our tee time. The course was dry and patches of the fairway were dirt. 5 hours later we made it to 18. Nightmare beware, go somewhere else that doesnt overbook.

Course has potential but far from reaching it. Tee boxes and fairways are fried. Weeds growing on greens. Pace of play is one of the worst I’ve seen. Took about 6 hours for 18 holes. Waited 10-15 minutes before teeing off on each hole. Could be a very nice course but it’s not. Staff is friendly. Only positive

Other reviews are a bit harsh on course conditions but spot on for pace of play. Almost three hours for the front nine! Numerous employees thanked us for playing and starter was very helpful. Greens rolled well - only one maybe two that had any issues at all. Glad we gave it a try BUT…

Sadly no ranger anytime throughout the day and group in front of us far more interested in the beer cart (and the two cart girls!) than the golf. These clowns even took my son’s ball from just off the green on 18! To the guy who felt it was fine to sit down while on the green the last four holes - just stay home next time!

We made an 8:30 T.T., still very slow, and is not cheap either.

Well the layout is really nice. After that, a lot of work needs to be done here. Greens have weeds all over, and some bare spots. No one seems to care. Fairways are literally burnt out. No one seems to care. Garbage strewn about on the course, in the ponds, on the clubhouse back porch. No one seems to care. It could be so much better but they need to care.

Course in bad shape. Fairways with no grass. No ball wash machines, no drinking water. Staff greats you as soon as you arrive in parking lot to get tipped.

This course is definitely not worth the money they charge…

Course is well layer out but was missing grass on most of the fairways. Yes that means hitting and chipping off dirt. Not a great value for the money

always a favorite as we play every 3 weeks we rotate around 10 other courses. conditions and difficulty are fun for us old geezers.

Have played this course a number of times over the years in the winter season but really disappointed as to how bad the conditon of the tees and fairways was. Also a few of the greens weren't u to standard.

I understand that there has been a lack of rain but charging full price forr poor conditions is a bit much.

To their credit though, they haven't jacked up their prices for March Break as other local courses have done.

We had a 10:15 tee time but didn't tee off until 10:45. One starter going in between both courses is not a good practice on a Friday morning. They need a starter on each #1 tee to keep everything in order. The round took 4.5 hours.
