GREAT course in Northern VA
Checked in with a complementary round for a 4some that I received from PWGC for holding a tournament with them. Gent at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. My cart and it's time was already set...Complimentary bucket of practice balls and one of the staff brought my bag from the parking lot to the cart staging area. Nothing but great things to say about Stonewall and look forward to many more rounds there !!!

This course has a Remarkable layout.
Excellent condition of fairway, green, teeing box, and staffs. Recommend dining facilities for not only golfers but also people who looking for exceptional services by restaurant staff.

Big beautiful course
I like big courses. Not only is it big, it has beautiful vistas. Greens, tees and fairways were in great condition. Don’t care for dirt bunkers. Pace of play was decent except for a slow playing single from holes 4-8. We were a foursome and had to wait. Running out of daylight on the last 4 holes, we had another foursome playing extremely slow. Marshal talked to them which seemed to make them mad and play slower. We finished 18 in the dark. Otherwise, a really fun day of golf.

Great layout
Please please fix your ball marks!!
Great course ruined by bad greens due to pitch marks…fix yours and two others please…seriously, on 12 I fixed 10 balls marks…three within a yard of the cup. Please don’t think the owners have the manpower to fix ball marks ..they don’t!
Course tee to green needed a good watering…starting to show the heat strain and lack of rain around the greens and some fairways.
Otherwise best public layout in DC. Amazing lake views… great bar when done in clubhouse. Good solid driving and chipping area…love this course and the serenity of Lake manassas.

Challenging but fun course for new golfer.
We enjoyed playing this course. twilight is beautiful however the sun does make it challenging to see on some of the holes. Price is pretty good since it includes cart and a bucket of range balls. Overall we like this course and would recommend it especially for newer golfers.

Great course
Great layout, great practice facilities (range balls included). Amazing views and challenging holes. LOTS of bunkers.. lots of water also being on lake Manassas. Pace of play the day I played (Tues afternoon) was miserable.. one of the slowest I’ve ever played. Also.. the no beverage cart when in dire need while sitting on all 18 tee boxes waiting for groups ahead to clear fairway - that was awful.
Love the course, probably just a bad day / time to play.

Fun day!
The Course was i good shape even though we've had a lot of hot, dry days in August.
The only negative we had was that the beverage cart stopped at 4pm and our round started at 3:40pm. The snack shack at the turn was also closed.

Great until back nine
The back nine slowed down. Turns out there was a 6-some two in front of us that was slowing things way down. That was not cool.
You need to call the pro shop and notify, if no ranger comes out, keep calling, if no one complains and the group ahead is allowed to play, the BS will continue on other days,
just because golfers pay the GF, doesn't mean they have their own etiquette.
