Slower than slow
Unfortunately the pleasure of playing this really good & scenic golf course is diminished by the ridiculously SLOW pace of play.

Single slow play
There was a single light off right before us playing three balls causing occasional slow play. Suggest keeping a Marshall on the course but there were none to be found

Pace
The only reason the pace was rated low is there was a corporate outing that slowed the pace tremendously. Overall nice track.

Excellent course. We were a threesome and had a foursome in front. They were nice enough to let us play through. finished in 3 1/2 hours.

One of my favorite course in Northern Va
Wonderfully maintained course with different shot shapes you have to play making the course challenging but fun. Gorgeous back drop of Manassas lake. I really liked the pace of play whenever I have a chance to head out that way.

Well kept, Premium feel
Stonewall is a challenging but fair course that is in good shape despite its being heavily played. There is a good selection of tees so you can tailor the course to your ability and the fairways and greens are well kept. You will need your "A" game to go low here but the views,especially on the back nine are great and will bring you back for more rounds to try and conquer this track.

High class setup and service
Stonewall golf course is a first rate facility from the layout, course conditions and a sense of professionalism throughout. Interesting and challenging course without being intimidating, my only complaint is the almost hidden yardage markers buried in the fairways- please can you
mark them?

Great Location - Greens Need Some Love
I will always love Stonewall Golf Club. It sits on a magnificent piece of land along Lake Manassas and has some very scenic views for an inland golf course. Unfortunately, with this type of public course, people come from all over, don't have a stake in the course's success, and don't fix their freaking divots. The greens were really beat up and didn't roll all that true.
I don't blame the golf course management. It's hard to deal with the amount of traffic they get and keep the greens pure. However, it's unreasonable to charge someone $100 in this area and then let them putt on anything less than perfect greens.
I'll still come back because the surrounding is so nice. But it's sad to see the course in that kind of shape.
