Slow play!
Course itself was outstanding but we couldn't finish our round. After being backed up 3 groups deep waiting to tee off on 12 we gave up. They desperately need some rangers out there. I'll go again but likely during week mid day in hopes it's a little faster.

Must Enforce Rate of Play
This course needs GPS tracking of carts and strong pace of play enforcement by a ranger. It should never take 5 hours........

Great Course; challenging layout; excellent condition except for the traps. Thin sand/dirt combo. Should be better sand given the otherwise above average quality of the course.

Meteor shower on some greens
Always love this course but please repair your ball marks on greens! If you are good enough to hit a green repair your mark! Keep the course at least in as good shape as you want it. This isnt a ding on the course but on those that dont repair ball marks.

Most sand traps lacking sand
Need sand in the traps. Not that I was in them all the time but when I was, there was a repeating theme: little sand before you hit the underlying clay-like hard pan base. Overall course is great, but surprised at the lack of sand in the traps for such a nicely kept course.

A gem in N. VA
The staff was very friendly and the course is well maintained. The clubhouse is nice, and the views along the water while playing were beautiful.

Rocky bunkers
1st time playing stonewall. It’s a great layout, pace of play can get backed up. Bunkers need to be cleaned out, there are some rocks in ALL the bunkers.
