Played here for years, great people, nice course, excellent conditions, pace of play was brutal. 5 hours on a Thursday late morning start.

One of the most beautiful courses I have ever played. Well maintained. Challenging course but good range of tee options to meet individual capabilities. Pictures don’t tell the whole story. You need to see the course in person

Best Public Course in the Area
I've played Stonewall many times over the last several years. It is the best public course that I'ver played in the NoVA area. It is a challenging but (usually) fair course. It rewards good shots and can penalize bad ones. Its been well cared for and has some picturesque views of Lake Manassas. The club house is a great way to finish a round with very good food and a nice selection of cold beverages. Can't wait to play it again.

A bit disappionted
Usually really enjoy Stonewall. But this time it came up a little short. Greens were hard and didn't hold shots too well. Hopefully they will return to normal soon. Also, there was not good food service anywhere. You could buy a drink in the pro shop. Not what you'd expect from a club that bills itself as high end.

Excellent golf experience
First time playing at Stonewall and thoroughly enjoyed the course. Everything was great - friendly starter and clubhouse staff, grass range (yea - no mats!), short game practice area and naturally - the course itself. Course is in great condition, interesting layout and fantastic views. Pace of play was great for a public course. I would highly recommend Stonewall and look forward to returning.

All but one thing
I wrote a review about this last year. And no one responded. Course, conditions and service are great. Only one issue, the name, Stonewall. It doesn’t represent legacy. It represents hate. It’s more than time to change. It’s what’s right.

The course was great and staff was very nice
I played with my wife and my friend’s couple. Course was great condition. But green was little bit bumping.
However course view, fairway conditions and staff was great. I recommend this course.

Need ranger enforcement of very slow foursomes.
I had to leave with 4 hole to play, discovering, as I drove my cart back to the clubhouse, that 2.5 holes we open ahead of a slow foursome 3 groups ahead of me. Install GPS, track groups, and enforce pace of play, and this terrific course will be a much better experience.
