Stonewall Golf Club at Lake Manassas

Course is in great shape, especially considering the time of year. Greens look great

Course conditions were very good for this time of the year. Amazing views of Lake Manassas.

Love playing Stonewall. Course is interesting and challenging. Pace of play in the middle of the week was good. Always have fun playing here. Free range balls, good practice green, above average chipping area. I only knock to the overall rating is because they applied a heavy amount of sand on all the greens halfway through the round. We had to stop playing while we watched the greens ahead get saturated with sand. Also, a few holes had bunkers being worked on. Lastly the restaurant was closed, so couldn't get a snack.

It's winter golf, so I can understand the need to do maint and improvements, but a heads up that this activity would impact the conditions in the middle of the round the very minimum would have been nice.

Still, this is a premier public course and I look forward to being back under better conditions

Stonewall was in fabulous shape considering that it was February. Greens smooth and fairways quite good.

Just want to start that I really like this course.

My issue today was the lack of marshals to enforce course rules.

Today was Cart Path Only (typical of winter golf) and the group behind us blatantly ignored this rule. Our group informed them twice that is was Cart Path Only, but they just told us that no one told them. So of course they keep ignoring the Cart Path Only rule and spend the day breathing down our necks.

I called the Pro Shop on hole 6 to let someone know what’s going on, but it seems I was either forgotten or ignored. The group behind us must got frustrated by the end when they hit a ball into us on hole 18. Luckily the ball missed (by a few feet). I decided that it was just best to leave instead of escalating the situation.

This could have been avoided if someone had come out and warned that group, but maybe it seems Cart Path Only is just a guideline.

Outstanding golf course layout. Plenty of bunkers and water hazards. Very fair and scenic. It was raining and a little chilly (January). Definitely want to return in the spring or summer. Pace of play was great. Kudos to whomever designed this course. A very fun round!

i HAVE BEEN PLAYING THERE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS AND ALWAYS IN GOOD SHAPE ALL YEAR ROUND.

Best golf experience in Northern VA. Difficult course, beautiful water views with water in play, challenging topography. and the many, many sand traps.....so you need to bring your A game to Stonewall!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cost included and cart - great even for December. Pro shop and Brass Cannon restaurant are excellent. We will play again and again.....

Drove to Stonewall GC from W Pa to get out of the snow for a winter round. They did an 11 o'clock shotgun because of frost the night before which worked well because pace of play was Great. Greens were frozen for the first 6 holes, not course's fault, so you had to adjust but greens rolled well, conditions were really good for Dec and loved the layout. We will come back and highly recommend Stonewall GC to anyone.

This course is always worth the time playing. It has challenging holes that require some though for each shot. Setting along side Lake Manassas has some of the most breathtaking views and golf holes you will ever play. Also you can view the prestigious RTJ course across a section of the lake. Conditions are always very good here and greens are generally a bit faster than most places. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Never get tired of the course and always feel like you are in a special place while playing. Great grille experience afterward also with nice bar and room to enjoy with another great view of the 18th hole.
