Stonewall Golf Club at Lake Manassas

This course is always worth the time playing. It has challenging holes that require some though for each shot. Setting along side Lake Manassas has some of the most breathtaking views and golf holes you will ever play. Also you can view the prestigious RTJ course across a section of the lake. Conditions are always very good here and greens are generally a bit faster than most places. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Never get tired of the course and always feel like you are in a special place while playing. Great grille experience afterward also with nice bar and room to enjoy with another great view of the 18th hole.

Stonewall is one of the best daily fee courses in the metropolitan Washington DC area. The fairways are fairly wide but there are a number of strategically placed fairway bunkers as well as some forced carries off the tee. It has strong par threes. Greens were in great condition. Staff are friendly and efficient. Very good practice area.

A real pleasure to get to play a course like this. As soon as you step on the first tee box, you know that you are playing a course that is cut above. Thanks again golfpass.

Stonewall is one of the best courses in Northern Virginia open to the public and is a great deal in the off season. Beautiful views, well maintained throughout. Highly recommended

Stonewall Golf Club is the best course in Northern Virginia for the single digit Handicapper trying to become better. It is the type of course where you want to play it several times to truly know the correct areas to play shots to but also has the risk/reward holes that make the game truly fun to play if you can bomb it off the tee box. Greens are normally fast but fair and fairways and rough are in great shape all year long. I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting a fair challenge.

Great course, great friends, great weather & course conditions, excellent practice facility and a 4-hour round on a weekend, doesn't get much better than this!

Stonewall is a great course with very accommodating staff.. Brass Canon is a great place to relax after the round.

Very slow pace. No marshals came out to speed up the play. Bunkers need work!

My play was during the heat of this past summer. I was overcome with the heat and had to stop play after the 2nd hole. I was able to return to the clubhouse where I was offered a cold towel and a couch on which to sit and recover. The personnel was extremely careing and after 30 mins of recovery I was carted to my car.

First time playing here, met all expectations, and now my go to course since I'm just down the road in Warrenton and my re-energized passion for this wonderful pastime. Spectacular views and jaw dropping homes surround this course. Loved it. Thank You!

Stonewall Golf Club is and remains one of the top golf courses in Northern Virginia, though it appears the service, specifically the outsider services, are almost non-existent anymore. So hopefully this review will provide a constructive view.

I’ve seen this trend over the last year or so, , thinking the attitude and willingness to welcome/assist golfers were isolated instances, new staff in training, etc.... However after more time it appears the lack of service is more the rule than the exception.

Why write this now? During my last round there were 3 outside service folks gathered around the starter area, all having a conversation among themselves and no attention to the customers. You are a premier golf club, and you used to provide outstanding services, I.e. welcome, assistance with clubs, offering range balls, this time the lack of services was heightened when you see the people there and not engaging.

Exception, 4th staffer, woman cleaning golf carts was working hard and hustling.

Note at the end of the round, Stonewall would assist with clubs...again, not anymore.

Maybe it’s just me, Stonewall set and maintained a high standard and expectation, it would be disappointing if that changes. I do think the course is very nice and the staff is generally friendly, even if the services are diminished. I’ll just reset expectations a bit.
