Stonewall Golf Club at Lake Manassas

They allowed 8 guys to tee off at same time, when called the club they said it’s a wedding party as if that’s acceptable and allowed. They should refund me for not allowing me finish my round and pace of play was disgustingly slow.

Great shape for November. Beautiful coarse would suggest to any player level. And the place is fantastic.

Definitely better than South Riding and cost was very reasonable and affordable. Club house person was very nice and communicative about products for sale.

It’s unfortunate … nearly everything is great about the course, but the pace of play is so so so slow here (asked members if it’s normal and they said yes) That it just destroys course reputations. Friends talked really poorly of Stonewall because of how slow people play there, but it looked nice online so I tried it. It was nearly 6 hours on a weekday. Not a Marshall in sight the whole round.

Played there after couple of years of not playing here due to price. Luckily got a tee time under hot deal and it was well worth it. Challenging and fun course to play.

Starter sent me off front 9 behind a shotgun tournament. At the turn, found out he was supposed to send me off back 9. So pro-shop asked me if I could just play front 9 again. So only played half the course (Less scenic half that is not on the water) twice and it took 5.5 hours to do so. Spent the whole day upset with everything about it … which is a shame because the course itself looks nice. Really disappointed. Worst northern Virginia golf experience since moving here in 2010. I’m also not a wealthy person, so to pay for this nice of a course and be let down, was a real shock.

The course was in fantastic condition and was a fun, challenging layout. However, the pace of play was terrible. We had a 2:20 tee time but didn't hit our first shot until 2:35. We were getting a water and a bag of trail mix at the snack shop adjacent to #10 at 5:10. No chance to play all 18. Played 17 pretty much in the dark.
