Nice city course. I would play it again next time I'm in the area. Best time to play is weekdays, weekend are very busy.
This course is fun, not overly challenging, but you can get yourself in trouble if you don't pay attention.
Can appreciate the "cart-path-only" logic/theory, but come on??????? Found the Pro Shop check-in staff and cart monitor both to be very condescending and curt. Greens were very hard, but enjoyed their play.
Will go back, despite the staff.
Save your money.
Not impressed. First off I was playing a five some and they told us off the bat to play best ball so their patrons wouldnt have to wait. Its not like I was playing with a bunch of beginners. We were all once a week players. I'd hate to see how they treat beginner golfers. The greens were horrible. a few greens had more sand than green on them. There was no consistancy from hole to hole. Spend a few extra bucks and go play Lakewood. Ill never be playing Audubon again.
Audubon review
tee boxes were in great shape. The greens were slower than normal. ( that may be because of abundance of rain and cooler weather). Fairways are better than most public golfing.
Great course in excellent condition.
This course is very short with numerous par 3's. It is great to improve iron play and greens are very challenging. They did a great job with course dealing and layout.
Short but challenging
This course looks so innocent until you get out there and you find yourself in a jiff. Short but has many places that you can get yourself into big trouble. With small elevated greens, its a challenge to get on from far out.
Very fun course!
This course needs friendlier people
It's just not very flattering to go to a golf course spend my hard earned money, just to be treated without care. There is this old lady behind the counter that really needs to wake up and see that she is in the service industry.. Her sole job is to provide me with a enjoyable experience. But every time I come to this place I get the same old no smile ruin my tee time hateful lady.. Please help her.. Awesome course..
Very enjoyable.
This is a wonderful little spot in a wonderful city. My wife and I enjoyed our loop. Being an executive course it is not very long and that made it a little more pleasant.
staff
There is an employee that is very unpleasant and not very friendly. Sometimes I attend or with a group of friends, she gives an unwelcoming experience that hinders me and others from truly enjoying our time on the course. Her name is Jane and she seems to have an attitude that doesn't reflect the experience you offer to guests.
Great Tune up course
I really enjoyed this course. It seems simple, but has plenty of ways to get back at you. I would definitely play again.
Very Enjoyable Experience
Played with friends from California. We had a very enjoyable time. The course is short, but was challenging in many ways. We played from the back tee boxes. The views are very beautiful. I would recommend this course to anyone in the New Orleans Metro area. It will challenge your short game, but has a couple of par 5's and several par 4's. It was overcast, which made it very pleasant. Booked on Golfnow and got a great price for our foursome. You could walk this course, but we rode as the cart was included in our fee. Anyone who plays this course should come away with a memorable round.
Scenic
Beautiful scenery, relaxed play ,what more do you need.
Short game workout
You will work on short irons thru the whole course .
A great example of where golf needs to go
I'm a big advocate of shorter rounds and less expensive golf, and Audubon Golf Course, right in the uptown New Orleans, is one of the best examples of that in the country. This par 62 course doesn't really have an executive course type of feel, even though the majority of holes are par 3s. There are still bunkers and carries over water, upscale daily fee conditions and even a par 5. It's really all the golf most people want and you don't blow the whole day doing it.
Old woman working the clubhouse was rude, unhelpful, & made me not want to play the course. Course is nice

I really enjoy this course.
This is one of the best golf courses in the New Orleans area. Easily one of my favorite courses to play. My children are junior golfers and I would like to see more support from the Audubon Golf Course for junior golfers. This is a pristine golf course with many shorter hole opportunities - perfect for younger golfers to really fine tune their newly learned skills. I would recommend at least a 50% discount for High School Varsity golfers and younger juniors who attend golf classes. Maybe offer a Weekend special after 1:00 pm to juniors/parents and once a month place age appropriate tee locations on the fairways (marked age 7-9, 10-12) This would really show that Audubon Golf gives back to the community and cares about youth golfers who are the future of the game.
Very scenic course, short, nice layout.
The course has a putting green but no chipping allowed which is ridiculous because if u miss the green your ball sinks down in thick 2.5" grass and is hard to gauge w/o a little practice. No driving range so whatever swing u woke up with that day takes a few holes to figure out. A quick pace of play so u better hurry because the group behind u is already firing at the green before u are in your cart. I guess because this is NO and they want to start partying ASAP. Also, carts on path only? So u would probably play quicker walking. Overall a good experience and feel u should score good given that the course is a short par 68.
This course is in great shape
For an out of Towner person, this was the perfect set up
Par is 62 for this course.
Audubon Park was in excellent shape when we played, late on an occasionally rainy Monday morning. Course has 4 par 4's, 2 par 5's, and the rest are 3's. Lots of water and sand. Great place to focus on the short game. Greens were a tad slow, but who says that's not a challenge. Will play it again.
challenging
a small course that is very challenging. i used every club in the bag.
