PGA WEST Greg Norman Course

Booked on GolfNow. Wind was blowing 40 mph when we arrived at course and we were told we couldn’t get a round credit unless course was closed. We played as we had paid for round and it was a challenge as at times we could not see 60 yards down fairway because of blowing dust.A learning experience!!

Bring your A game , lots of sand traps , water and the greens are at 11 . 4 . Not easy to read , played this course 3 times in the last 2 weeks , Great shape ,

The course was un great condition and the greens were fast art 11.1 rating.

Challenging and fair. Just need to have your A game to score well.

Such a wonderful day of golf. The layout is challenging, the course is in excellent condition. I’m a visitor to the valley and that was a day I’ll remember!! Hope to return and play it again.

Todays pin placements challenged the put and kept you thinking and rereading the break. It was a great test of mind and touch. We played with a couple from Wisconsin who we didn’t know and we had a blast seeing who could get the right read on the green. This course is one of our favorites and the staff is fantastic here. Such a beautiful course and a true treat to play. a bit backed up today but staff worked hard to keep it going. Much Appreciation. See you soon. m.

I enjoy playing this course. It's challenging but the greens are almost too hard for a resort course. They are VERY firm and you simply cannot land a wedge shot on the green and hope it will stick. The ball will just roll off the green so you have to land the ball in front of the green. Also, I was a bit miffed that I wasn't told in advance that it was 'cart path' only due to recent overseeding. That should have been disclosed in advance and not surprised on me by the starter. Fortunately it didn't affect pace of play so all was good.

Fairways and greens in excellent shape. Staff is very friendly. Carts feature GPS. Fun round of golf.

Still on cart path only due to late overseeding. No distinction between fairway and rough. Grass too long on fairway. Greens ok, very fast but hard. Pace of play was ridiculous- over 5 hours for a moderately challenging course. Waiting after every shot. Obviously allowed too many golfers on for the day. Marshall kept saying they were trying to get the groups moving but it did not work. Highly disappointing!
