SCHLOSS Roxburghe Golf Course

I've played this course about once a year for about 20 years and I think it is in the best condition ever. It's clear that the owners are prepared to give it the attention it deserves. Although the weather has been very dry for weeks, the fairways were still lush and the greens were well watered and receptive.

I am a senior golfer off 12.4, so this is a tough test, long and well-bunkered but, if you are prepared to accept that your ego may take a hit, the variety of challenging holes is refreshing.

Give it a go and leave your ego at home - you'll love it.

Great course, it’ll be fantastic in a few weeks as they’ve been doing some work on the greens and tee boxes, nothing to spoil my round, great layout and looks like a great hotel, staff were great especially Russel in the clubhouse, definitely worth another visit

Course in excellent condition for February, best course in the area by far! Every hole is unique and a brilliant challenge to play, challenging but enjoyable for all golfers. The course is always enhancing areas to keep it progressing nicely each time we visit.

Played on 27/12/24 and the course was in excellent condition, especially for December. Some huge challenging bunkers and greens heavily guarded.

Amazing course. They’d just done some renovations and it was still in immaculate condition. I cannot believe the price for this standard of course. It’s grade A. Staff in the clubhouse were all great too. The course is long and is a long walk too. I’ve only 2 criticisms, 1 the buggies were a bit pricey. 2 I emailed them prior to ask about the renovations and possible hole closures etc and they didn’t reply.

Found the Roxburghe absolutely stunning, in phenomenal condition and a place I really would love to play again.

The only downside on the day was a slow pace of play in front of us, probably because the course is a tough track and a heavy walk which is a true championship test.

The staff and facility is excellent!

Course was superb , greens in excellent condition , only comments - some bunkers needed raked and semi rough needs cut

Amazing venue with abundance of facilities and grounds!

Course is a real challenge but fantastic… as long as you keep on track, avoid the traps and take a buggy!
