Cadrona

Late January and the day after a storm and the course was excellent, greens were perfect and only 2 fairways damp after a full days rain the day before, was very impressed.

Cadrona in winter

Fantastic! Course was dry under foot on 16 fairways, the other 2 were damp but not wet. We went to Cadrona as our home course has been closed for 10 days due to frost conditions but Cadrona was full greens and no mats. Honestly cant praise it enough for golf in January it was perfect.

Cardrona

Played 27th December, full greens, no mats, some temp Tees. Course in really good condition given time of year, long and tough if don't stay on fairway. Absolute bargain for £20

Best Value Championship course in Scotland.

Without doubt the best value championship course in Scotland when using Golfnow. A proper test of golf, and a pleasure to play on such a course. Fantastic welcome at the golf shop, a very pleasant experience to be welcomed even though I'm not the best of golfers. Course and greens are top class. Played here a few years ago when they had issues with the greens, but this is no longer an issue. Look forward to returning in the autumn.

Great value

Course was in great condition, quiet so got round quickly. Price was very low for this standard of course and if there is better for this kind of money anywhere I’d like to see it.

Absolutely outstanding value on a hot deal we got for me & my son.

The course was in fantastic condition.

The course was challenging with some long holes but also some very good scoring opportunities also.

Borders Gem

A fantastic course, in incredible condition bearing in mind the time of the year. Booked as a hot deal on golf now so was extremely good value for money, worth the short drive from Edinburgh even at full price, up there with the best courses in the city

Honest review

Great course. The weather has burnt a lot of areas around the greens but nothing they could do about it. Only downside was it looks like other golfers have never used a rake in the bunkers before .Everyone had footprints in them, although not a fault of the course.

Slow play

The course allowed 3 x 4 ball golfers in front of my two ball and it turned into over 5 hours to play the course. They would not let ourselves or the rest of the waiting golfers through hence causing a large hold up on the course.
