About
SilverRock Resort is the city of La Quinta's first municipal golf course. This Arnold Palmer Classic Course is the home course of the Bob Hope Classic. At 7,239 yards, it is the longest course in Palm Springs and one of the longest courses on the PGA Tour. SilverRock sits right at the base of the Santa Rosa and Coral Mountains, which provide a stunning backdrop for every hole. It is closer to the mountains than any other public golf course in the area. The rugged landscape provides rocky outcroppings and massive native bunkers to contend with throughout the course. Beautiful water features also come into play on several holes. The SilverRock layout is challenging but the widths of the fairways are fair and playable and the holes are diverse enough to appeal to a range of different skill levels.

Solid Golf Course
Very good layout in equally good condition. Fairways and greens are all in really good shape and I expect it will only get better as the season moves on.
Paid $125 for round which we thought was a fair price. Would 100% recommend playing this course and can't imagine anyone could be disappointed.
Pro shop is a temporary trailer as there is construction everywhere, though except for a little noise it didn't bother us at all. Outside staff was ok, pro shop staff certainly not very friendly. That being said the starter and rangers on the course were awesome. Extremely friendly and really kept everything moving. Pro shop staff could learn a little from these guys.
All in all a great day of golf on a really good public course.

The course was beautiful but I found it pretty difficult for 18 handicap! I am a 78 year old guy so I would recommend to older friends

Beautifal Course, Terrible pace of play
Absolutley beautiful course, one of the best i have played in the valley. The round was unfortunatly tainted by an absolutely terrible pace of play. We had 4 groups on the same hole by hole 9. All carts have GPS, i don't see any reason why someone at the clubhouse cannot see that there is a problem and speed things up. Other than that that, staff was friendly and course was fantastic.

Course was in good shape but the clubhouse and all around the course is under construction which diminishes things….and the view.
Still fun to play but it should be at a reduced rate.

Great Golf Experience
Beautiful course nestled up against the mountains. Challenging but fun track layout. Will be spectacular when the facilities are completed. Well worth the money.

Interesting Layout, Fast True Greens
The layout is peculiar as far as the front nine/back nine/driving range is concerned. There's great view of the mountain all the way around. I played both courses at Indian Wells, PGA Mountain, Desert Princess, and Desert Willow the week I played at SilverRock...SilverRock by far had the fastest, truest rolling greens. Pace of play was great for a late Saturday morning.

Great Course
This is a great course but somewhat difficult. Pace of play was somewhat slow, finishing in 4.75 hours. Course conditions were very good & staff were all pleasant & professional.

Good players will like this course
I’ve played a number of Arnold Palmer courses and this is among the top. High level featuring and excellent conditioning make it a pleasure to play. Good choices and good shots rewarded, bad on either…not so much.

Course overall is good.
Fairways and tee boxes are great and well managed. Rough isn’t too thick and easy to chip out of.
Practice facility is great. Don’t be afraid to show up a little early to chip and hit balls.
My ONLY complaint on this course was the greens. Practice green is small and had dead spots and the course is unfortunately like this as well. Some greens are rough, some greens are great. Good news was the speed was consistent. For 160$ though I wish the greens were just a bit better.
Overall 4.5/5. Will be back for sure.
