I enjoy playing a couple of times a season there, it is one of, or maybe the most difficult course to score on as the greens have many undulations and are very quick which makes it very tough to lag a putt, I go there knowing that this is the case and not to get bent out of shape with the higher than normal score. The 5 1/2 hr round was not the norm, I have played a number of times there over the years and usually get through in a little over 4 hrs.

The course was great, fairways were maintained and the greens were fast. Just a well kept and maintained golf course. Very demanding course trouble everywhere losts of sand. A great time had by all.

Whoever rates this a 2 has no business writing a review. This is a 5 all day. I have played the majority of private and public geslms throughout the country. JF is right up there with them. Greens were amazing, our pro was great, food was solid and the bartender was great. If you are here this is a 200 course for 50 bucks. Enjoy...

As I was saying to my golfing buddy about a month ago.."Just once I would love to putt on greens with about the same speed as the Big Dawgs do. WELL....These greens we friggin great!!!... I was smiling even when i ran it past. Love putting when all I have to do is move the putter. Just don't get a chance to do it very often around here. We loved the conditions. Can't wait to get back out there.

Played with my wife and father in law today and had a great time. The greens were perfect and rolling very fast. The only hold back was the pace of play. We were behind a foursome which was playing a two man scramble which should have been a faster pace but they were terribly slow. We were waiting 5 to 10 minutes for each shot. The ranger came by several times and never said anything to them. I even mentioned to him once and he just said yeah! Besides that great time.

Bought the meal package (extra $5.00) per player. Hamburgers were terrible, obviously pre-cooked and buns ice cold. Server didn’t ask cooking preference which only confirms my belief that burgers were pre-cooked and delivered within five minutes of ordering. We asked to order fries and she stated they got rid of fryer and only had chips. Was told by another “regular” that food was not good anymore. A group of three held up three foursomes and there are no rangers monitoring course to speed up play like there are at World Woods.Course is known for slow play.

Course is in best shape in the 2 years I’ve been coming here. The greens are immaculate, and very fast. Round took a little longer than in the past. I’m fortunate enough to only be an hour away from this gem.

Tee times have recently been changed to 7-8minute intervals causing back ups at first tee and very slow play. Today’s round 5 + hours.

An excellent championship course with fast undulating greens. Better hit it where you have uphill chips or putts or take 3 or 4 putts. It had rained a lot and so the greens held high shots. Weather was perfect after cool start. A wonderful golf day when one stayed below the cup putting up hill.

THE ABSOLUTELY BEST CONDITIONED COURSE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA and I have played many. Not a mark on the greens. Stimpmeter was about 12+. I was afraid to drop the flag stick on them they were so perfect. All traps are cut precisely and have many rakes in them and at a 90 deg. angle with handle outside of the sand. By far my favorite course with great routing and interesting, memorable holes.

So, as the title states this is a “very nice course”. It is not pristine but the layout and design is the best in the area. The course was not pure green everywhere but it played with only a few minor issues. The greens are super fast and challenging. The course is very well manicured. Tee boxes are cut perfect and sand traps maintained. The course overall is a challenge.

I would have no problem going back at the price it is currently at. This course in known to get into the $60-$65 range and in the condition it’s in right now...that is way too high. We paid $40 and that is completely fair. Our pace of play was excellent. We started right at 8am and played a great pace. Right at 4 hours. I will say this, the later you go the more backed up it gets. When we made the turn there was a line at #1. There was a bev cart (it was Sunday) and we saw her a number of times. There were zero rangers and the staff seemed to be a bit...”unmotivated”. I would hate to see this course slide because of a lack of management.

Four hour round- great greens course in excellent shape

The course was fantastic as always but the starter was more interested in talking to his friends than managing the tee times. There was no Ranger and pace was painfully slow. Five hour rounds are awful even on nice course. Beers were $4 but the cart only came by once. You would think they want to sell beer and make money especially during a 5 hour round. So much potential but a lack of management

Course is in excellent condition, challenging and looking forward to playing again!

Beautiful day and got paired up with visiting Danes who had heard about the course...Only issue was a fivesome on a busy day that kept everyone behind them backed up. Made for a long day. Course was in fantastic shape - greens a bit slow, but full and green.

Wonderful!!! Challenging... perhaps not for the high handicapper but I loved this place! They hope to add more houses which will detract from the beauty and experience so hurry and go play now! Expensive for the area but worth the money on GolfNow. Probably in my top 10!
