Juliette Falls
About
When Juliette Falls Golf Course first opened in 2008, Golf Digest ranked it is one of the top five best new courses in the country. In a state that boasts more than 2,000 courses, Juliette Falls stands out as one of Florida's finest. Unlike the many flat courses that can be found in central Florida, this layout tumbles across rolling hills and slopes. Plenty of water and waste areas come into play but the wide-open fairways balance the course's challenges. The quality of both the design and the conditions of the golf course have helped it hang onto its ranking in the top 10 golf courses in Florida. Juliette Falls G.C. is also a great place to get some practice in. The 10-acre practice facility includes chipping and pitching greens, a practice bunker, a large undulating putting green, and a natural grass double-tee range.

Challenging
Excelent course conditions and layaout very challenging and great price that came with luch amd free beer. The burger was incredible at par with the course. My new favorite course for sure. Lightning fast greens make simple putts challenging and hard to stick it close. I would amd have recomended this course to many people. A diamond on the rough with plenty of water falls and georgeous landscape you can tell the employees take great pride in their work. Thank you for the great rounds
Great Day At The Falls!
We arrived late for our tee time and the staff was very accomodating to get us out as soon as we arrived. The clubhouse was outstanding. Only opportunity was the one stall bathroom that was not consistent with the great conditions of the clubhouse. Toilet paper on the back of the toilet..no holder and overall not very clean.
The course layout was awesome and for this time of the year the greens were fast and true. Fairways were pretty good and green. Rough is dried out but this course is amazing. Love to play here when the rain arrives. The starter, Bruce, was great!
The $8 hotdog because the computers were down was a bit much but overall this place is a must play.
When we first called saying we would be late, Linda quickly responded with, "take your time and drive safe we will get you out with no problem". This was awesome.. Thank you Linda!!
A long drive but worth the trip! We will be back!!
Over booked
My friend and I had payed for 18 holes. It's a nice course. After spending 3 hrs. To play the first 9 holes, we quit and left. It's hard to get a rather going when you spend 5 mins. Between shot. We won't be going back. Their cram them in GREED has cost them 2 future customers, plus I'm sure there will be others. What a shame.
Dodging bunkers all day
Great condition. Fairway and greens were pretty fast. Really had to concentrate on hitting it straight not to get in the bunkers and water.
Love the course BUT
We played twice in one week. The first time all the flags were blue. One of the staff said they didn't get to change the pins because of an outing. The second time we went, the pins are all blue. The starter told us they are always blue with no pin sheets. The owner got rid of pin sheets and colored flags. We will not go back. The course is challenging enough, but with no knowledge of pin placement and with large greens, approach shots are all off. Why bother.
I would of given the course 5 stars.
Great course, slow play
Juliette Falls is the best course I know of in the area that is open for public play. Great layout, great conditions, especially the greens. It was a 5 hour round, with three groups on some of the par 3s. But this is the height of snowbird season, so not a surprise.
Excellent track
This is one of my favourite courses in central Florida. I'm a five handicap and find it challenging. No one short of a scratch golfer should ever play from the tips.
The other tees offer all you can handle for most golfers. The condition of the course is consistently good. Greens are fast but fair and not difficult to read.
Wonderful afternoon outing
I was matched up with 3 Danish guys, we had a blast! Very nice course, loved every bit of it. Unique waste areas, well manicured easy to play out of. Huge rolled, perfect greens. Tight lies in most fairways, typical winter conditions but acceptable open approaches for those bump and run shots. Great course.
Strong course; bring your "A" Game
Would definitely like to play this memorable course again. It's a wonderful layout in a nice setting. No two holes alike; no weak holes.
I listed weather as "perfect," which it was until the rain came on the last two holes, but the course was not responsible for that.
My friend and I were in Ocala on a golf trip; this was the strongest of the 5 courses we played. Even at $40 plus, it was a decent value. If you go to Ocala, don't miss this outstanding course.
We played JF on our first day in Florida; wish we had played a few rounds before tackling this challenge.
Very scenic and a great value on Golfnow
A beautiful track that would have been simply magnificent if the original development would have been completed. They are competing with an excess of courses and being in a remote location have to offer very low and very reasonable prices for rounds. Range balls not included in the price, though. Would have been nice of the staff to mention this before we got to the range!
The course has some very scenic, even picturesque holes. Maintenance is a factor, the sand very uneven, fairways are good, not great. Money is obviously tight. Pace of play was excellent, as no one was out there on the day we played.
For the golfnow price levels, the course is well worth the drive.
One warning, the golf carts were quite honestly the worst I've ever driven. The break sticks and you get jerked on acceleration. The cart staff showed no interest in getting a tip for cleaning clubs.
Won't Disappoint
I live in St. Pete so is around 2 hour drive...have been itching to play for 2 years since moved here and was able to as was making a drive back home from up in Atlanta....
Wow, I would put it top notch with any course I've played in Tampa Bay area (TPC Tampa Bay, Waterlefe, World Woods) and is just so affordable. Gorgeous scenery and immaculate greens that were large and undulating but also fair. My one complaint would be a lack of yardage markers/posts on the course. It was spectacular and hope I get the chance to play there again someday!
GREAT Gold
Juliett Falls golf course is conveniently located right off Hwy 40 near Hwy 41 in central west Florida near Dunnellon and Ocala. Course is in great condition with greens that will challenge you but still hold the ball on the approach. Pins challenge you to place the ball below the pins for most uphill shots, fairways are in great condition. Bar and grill will not disappoint as we played 18 with cart and burger and beer for $50.
course in perfect condition
Fine, challenging course. Conditions were perfect. Reasonable pace of play on a busy day (4,5 hrs)
Fantastic course. Bring your A game....
Well worth the drive to the course. Best conditions in Central Florida and a very challenging layout. Great value......make sure you do the lunch special with the burger and beer.
Beautiful course, but spend almost 5 hours on the course (lots of waiting). Coming back at 6 PM we found everything closed. No possibility to drink or eat something. Disappointment.
Great day
The wind was blowing at 20 mph with frequent gusts up to 40 mph, thus we were one of the few groups playing. I have never played this course without it being crowded, but this was great. Great conditions and a good day for our guests that had not played here. Disappointed that they closed up when we finished at 5:30.
Fantastic Hidden Gem
Being from Orlando, I had heard wonderful things about this course and it didn't disappoint. The greens were in fantastic shape and extremely fast. Make sure you hit to the correct tiers or you're in for a roller coaster ride. The only downside and the reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is the pace of play was dreadfully slow. All in all, it made for a great day. It's a shame this course is so far from Orlando or I'd definitely be back!
