Juliette Falls
About
When Juliette Falls Golf Course first opened in 2008, Golf Digest ranked it is one of the top five best new courses in the country. In a state that boasts more than 2,000 courses, Juliette Falls stands out as one of Florida's finest. Unlike the many flat courses that can be found in central Florida, this layout tumbles across rolling hills and slopes. Plenty of water and waste areas come into play but the wide-open fairways balance the course's challenges. The quality of both the design and the conditions of the golf course have helped it hang onto its ranking in the top 10 golf courses in Florida. Juliette Falls G.C. is also a great place to get some practice in. The 10-acre practice facility includes chipping and pitching greens, a practice bunker, a large undulating putting green, and a natural grass double-tee range.

great course
Course was great outside staff seemed unhappy with people, carts need new rain covers for bags all are worn out or missing. Again course in great shape will be back
fantastic layout and design
This was the first time that we played this course and were looking forward to a great time after listening to friends talk about it. We were not disappointed. Even though the greens were recently sanded, they were in great shape. Fairways and tee boxes were very nice. The course can be a challenge but will allow you to scramble. The only disappointments were (1) the lack of water (to drink). There was only water at the bathrooms, only one per nine holes and (2) no indication from the fairways as to the location of the flags on the greens.
Slowwwwwwwwwww
Course booked 5 players in front of us that caused the slow play. We asked for the ranger and there was no response. We asked for a return call and no call. Disappointed in the unresponsiveness. The course is beautiful and in excellent condition.
Similar to Harmony Golf Preserve & Panther Run Golf Club.
11:57 tee time w/ wife for $27.82/ea. (Hot Deal tee time). Teamed up w/ another couple who bought the other 2 Hot Deal tee times. Pristine course. Not 1 weed on course. Tee boxes & fairways plush. Lots of hills & elevated tee shots. Tree lined but wide landing areas. Few water hazards. Large elevated greens that putt true & fast. Fun & tough course that's visually appealing. Well stocked Pro shop situated in a large Club house. Battery powered carts w/ windshield & rain cover in back.
The course was in Awsome condition
One of the best courses in Florida for Public play. Course condition was great, greens were excellent and the staff was great to work with. The use of waste areas alongside some of the fairways is a very nice touch and the use of water and water falls on some of the holes is very appealing to the eye. Fairways are quite generous off the tee, but placement of fairway bunkers make the tee shots challenging making the shaping of tee shots very helpful. After 18 holes on the course you will be glad you came and played it.
beautiful scenery
got off early on tee time. Never held up by golfers in front of us. Staff takes clubs out of your vehicle and places in golf cart. Good choice of beverages in bar.
super golf experience
Best combination of course conditions and pace of play in the Ocala area.
Nice layout, great condition, indifferent staff
We had an early tee time and it didn't take long to realize how the staff feels about non-members. I made a "foursome burger and beer special" tee time but had to call a couple of days prior to change to a twosome. When we arrived the deadpan fellow hanging at the bag drop asked my tee time and said we had been paired up with another twosome, which is not a problem at all for us. I welcome the company, it helps with our pace of play, etc. When I went inside to pay for the round, the gentleman running the register was very quick to say that he "could not honor the original special price that included a burger and beer since you're no longer a foursome." Do you see where I'm going with this? Had he said "I know you had to change your reservation but since you are going out as a foursome, we'll give you guys the special that we had advertised." That would not have cost him a dime and he would have made four very appreciative return customers. Instead we all paid more for our round and didn't stay for food afterwards. As we headed to the driving range I asked a third fellow where the range balls were located. He seemed annoyed and handed me my bucket as he remained turned away talking with an older female member. I said "thank you" and never got even a nod as he continued his conversation in the other direction. I told my playing partner that the staff acts as though the public is an inconvenience for them. The course itself is very nice but more expensive than some other very nice courses in the area. I would not hesitate to drive the extra distance and pay a higher rate if I knew I was a valued customer, and it doesn't take much for me. It will be hard for me to go back now to pay good money to be treated like a nuisance.
Most of the greens are large, immaculate and have very subtle breaks. The fairways are fairly forgiving. The coquina type material in the waste areas is packed very hard, but the bunkers were very well maintained. It was a five hour round as we waited on most every tee, but the course conditions made up for it. Maybe the rates will drop over the summer months and we'll give the course, and the staff, another shot.
Great golf experience
My brother and I played this course and had a great day from start to finish. Live in Florida and played a lot of courses in the North Florida area and this is by far the best. Course conditions were perfect, greens, fairways were lush. Vincent Pugalia the PGA professional and staff were friendly and made the day that much better. A great value for a quality course for golfers who want a well conditioned course. It always makes for a better day of golf. A five star experience
Amazing Value
This is probably the best value I have ever had in a golf course. It was a great course and it was $43 with a burger and a beer after the round. I would highly recommend checking it out.
great layout well manicured
The course is very challenging from the blue tees especially the par 3's.The greens, fairways and sand traps were a ten on a scale of 10.
Fun every time.Beautiful
Beautiful course. Slow play (4hrs, 45 min).
Love to play it so much, I can tolerate the slowness.
Well maintained course
The greens were fast and smooth and the fairways and tee boxes were in excellent condition. The course has many well positioned sand traps on just about all the holes and water hazards on a few. My wife enjoyed it because the women's tees were in front of the forced carry hazards. The only bad thing was the slow pace of play. We had a great time and will be back.
OUTSTANDING
Best course I played out of about about a dozen in citrus and marion county this month. This area has very reasonably priced golf on decent courses.
The course has a great layout
The course was in excellent shape and had a great game my wife rode with me she said the course was very senic
This was not a 'HOT DEAL'
THE PRICE AT THE COURSE WAS POSTED AT EXACTLY $28.00. SO THIS WAS NOT A GREAT DEAL.
Great course
Definitely worth checking out...but beware. I sat behind 3 groups of twosomes. I was a single. These guys didn't bother to pair up and the group in front of me didn't bother asking if I wanted to either, play through OR play with them. I'm sure they were members with a chip on their shoulder about their precious club having to go semi-private to stay alive. I'll probably go back but a marshal is beyond needed at this course.
