Deer Park Golf and Country Club, considered among Central Scotland's top golf courses, offers a 6,727-yard course that has hosted British Open Qualifiers as well as the Scottish PGA Championship. Facilities include range, putting green, pro shop, showers, locker rooms. Deer Park has earned its rep in the Scottish golf world.

Deer Park Golf and Country Club spans natural parkland. It's a relatively new golf course despite its honors. Peter Allis, Dave Thomas and Peter Clark designed it in 1978. It quickly ascended the Scottish ranks, especially when compared to the century-plus-old courses that fill Scotland.

Deer Park Golf and Country Club offers a whole day's activities, with a health-and-fitness center, 10-pin bowling, bars and restaurants - even weddings, if you want to fit one in between rounds.

Decent course lack of organisation

Decent course although very slow play need to improve on timings between group's. Nothing worse than having to wait 10/15 mins to take your turn while feeling rushed from the group behind would not recommend this course unless it’s quiet.

Great Course

Had a really good round, the course was immaculate, and the staff in the pro shop were great.

Greens were not only a good speed, but also consistently the same all round. Layout was really interesting, some great holes in there with proper club choice considerations.

Length of holes made for some interesting shots to be played especially in the higher winds we were playing in. Some very well positioned bunkers made for some scorecard busting holes, but none of the holes felt "unfair".

Ultimately a really great course, I will 100% be back

Good Layout - Greens could better - (Slow play)

Course layout is friendly but has its tough areas, overall condition is very good - the greens are good but they need cutting... Playing in winter may be the reason for not being cut but they are incredibly slow.

Pace of play very slow but this is due to competition - overall not to bothered by this as playing as a single.

I would definitely return hopefully with better cut greens.

Could be a great course

Unfortunately some holes had winter greens the ones that where one were needing a cut desperately fairways weren’t much better played this as a youth was in much better condition wouldn’t pay the money to be a member there only upside pro was very good and professional

Great day first time playing the course.

Course was playable.

The downside was there wasn’t any catering available and the coffee machine was broke.

Great value

Last minute decision to play here half bag of clubs walking. A course of 2 halves picturesque in places don’t let the 1st 9 lull u. Energy will be needed for second half, Overall some nice holes requiring accuracy the rough I would term as very fair few blind approach’s . In my opinion best greens I’ve played on this year subtle slopes. Had wind with & into 278yd with 198 against playing my absolute best

Great course!

Greens was in brilliant condition and ran true. The course itself appears quite simple to the eye, but isn’t without the occasional challenge. Overall really satisfying experience playing this course.
