The course was in good shape. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Only issue was the mats on the driving range on certain days. . .

The course is in excellent shape!

I arrived early to hit range balls and the staff acted less friendly except the starter which was very nice!

It’s the middle of summer in Florida and not one water cooler was in site! You would think that the temperature being 90* + with humidity they would have water on the course!

The starter was kind to bring me two cups of water on the 9th hole!

Inquired about a beverage cart and was told that it had stopped @ 2 after the morning rush!

If I play there again I will be bringing my own cooler because there was no advance warning for no water to drink on the course!

The starter was not a friendly person and was encouraging us to hit into the group in front of us on 1, even though we were ahead of our start time but the pro shop personnel were great.

There was no cart person on a Saturday and no water coolers on the course, only at the turn. Bring a huge yeti if you want water.

Fairways and greens are in great shape. Staff was very professional and courteous. It would be nice to have water stations at tee boxes. In the heat, water is necessary to stay hydrated. Also, it would be good it the clubhouse was open longer like 6 or 6.

First time playing at Amelia River Club. Course conditions and layout were both great. Pro shop, range, and food/beverage costs were definitely on the higher end. Would definitely play here again if back in the area.

This course is really good value for the money if you go thru GolfNow. If you pay thru the club then it becomes just a fair value for the money. I have played it a couple times a year for many years. The current ownership keeps it in great condition. The greens roll beautifully when dry and fast, the way I like it. Highly recommend. The layout is nice. Enjoyable challenge and I think the best course the public can play in the area.

I’ve said this before and it bears repeating. Too many golfers, when playing the Par 5 18th, leave their carts in the fairway then proceed to the green to putt out. This is ridiculous, since the golfers behind the have to wait to hit their 2nd shot. Most golfers simply drive to the back of the green to finish the hole. Last week it happened again and I hit my 2nd shot while their carts were in the fairway, 60 yards from the green. I caught it well and it stopped short of their carts. I waited for them and they asked if it was my ball, then they asked why I didn’t wait for them to be done. These were obviously self entitled golfers. Wanting the group behind them to wait on our 2nd shots while they putt out, shake hands, slap backs, etc. idiots.

If the course can display the clubhouse menu on the 8th hole, then they can display a message to NOT PARK THE CARTS IN THE FAIRWAY ON 18. Simple as that.

Course is in great condition with wide fairways. Greens are fast. Not much water and course is forgiving.

Fun course but over 5 hr round. Need to do a better job keeping everyone on pace.

My wife and I played, and we had a great time. All Staff members were very friendly. All the facilities were clean, and the food was very good. The course was in real good conditions considering the drought N. Florida is going through. Overall I would highly recommend this course.

Great course. Greens had been punched a few weeks earlier but seem to roll true. Great time.
