The Amelia River Club

Course was in great dormant shape, overseeding looked great. Greens putted extremely well even though they just lightly sanded them. A couple holes run along the airport, which is unique. The course had a little bit of everything, some holes wide open, some holes tight. A nice amount of hazards but not overbearing. Staff was great. Only complaint is that the grill closed at 4, so really couldn't get anything to eat afterwards. For $60 on a hot deal, it was a steal.

Saw someone say that the bunkers didn't have sand, I didn't see a single bunker without sand, and they were all raked well.

a course with little to no character, for the price I was charged I did not expect to see grown men openly urinating every 3-4 holes. I’ve played 100’s of Golf courses throughout Florida this was the worse experience. Amelia river golf club is overrated and overpriced ($13) for range balls is one example of ridiculous prices. If you want to see members and their guest pass up bathrooms to urinate openly this is your place.

Only reason it's rated so high is cause of membership reviews is all I can figure out. Sand traps have no sand. Course has little to no character.should be called the airport club not river club only one hole plays along the river and not sure if this is Normal but saw two people urinating in the bushes and one of them was pretty much in the wide open between 10 and 18. Pretty sure that's not cool last time I checked. Very disappointed

Great course. Love playing this course anytime of the year.

I’ve played Amelia many times. One of my go to courses when in the area, usually during our Christmas vacation.,Despite the time of year, the course is in excellent condition and the staff is most helpful.

Best I can say is I’ll be back this Christmas.

This course and the experience of playing it is amazing. Live in Jax and the hour drive up to Amelia is 100% worth it for the course layout, condition, and overall experience. No houses anywhere on the course so it’s very scenic. There is a small private airport next to a few holes, we’ve seen a couple small aircraft taking off but it’s not a noise problem. New pro shop is very nice and the range is great. If you’re a FL/GA resident, the rates are incredible. A great track at an unbelievable value (again if you’re a FL/GA resident).

Staff is outstanding , course is challenging but super fun. Great conditions and played under 4 hours. Worth the drive from Jax beach.

Windy cloudy day but course was great and challenging.

Bring your sand wedge and a good putting stroke.

Course condition was great with fast bermuda greens. Very windy adding the challenge of club selection. Tight oak tree lined finishing holes on both nines, get your bets won before the end.

The staff was helpful and courteous. Be sure to play here if you are in the area.

Great track for under $60 for the area. Layout is nothing special but course was in really good shape. Only negative is nearly every fairway was roped off for no reason really (not wet at all).

Have played this course a bunch of times recently. Condition of course keeps getting better and staff is always great.

Excellent layout with challenging holes Greens were quick and rolled well. Course was not worth the price due to lack of amenities that I expect at this price point. No GPS on the carts, course poorly marked with hidden hazards. Charged $13 for a small bag of range balls. Used to that being free on similarly priced courses. Even though I liked the course, hard time recommending for the price and lack of extras.

Excellent value course was in great shape look forward to playing there again and the staff was great

Played here on dec 1. It was a cold morning and we walked. The round took about 3 hours so it was very walkable. The staff was top notch and very friendly. The course conditions were pretty good, especially the greens. Bunkers were not consistent and fairways and rough was good. For a $100+ course, the expectations are higher, but you can tell they are working hard on it. Would have liked to see a discount for not using the carts Though. If the. Purse is worried about pace of play with walkers, set time expectations.
