5 some slowdown
Course was ok. Greens were terrific. Play was slow as a 5 some was ahead of me and another pair. Not sure if someone was ahead of them . Is it customary to allow five somes to play anywhere ?
Not worth it
Slow pace of play, no rangers out around the course and the fairways are patchy. Greens are good
Why even do reservations
Reserved a golf cart and called ahead to make sure I would have a cart.
My tee time was 11:45, didn’t tee off until 12:45. They didn’t have a cart, after prepaying for one and calling ahead.
Nice local course
The greens were in good shape, but fast. A few bunkers were bad, others much better. Pace was good, even with a 5 done in front of us.
An average experience at best
I recently played at this course, and overall, it was just okay. The conditions were what you’d expect from a typical municipal course—nothing egregiously bad but also nothing that stood out as exceptional. The greens, fairways, and bunkers were all in average shape, which is fine for casual play but not noteworthy.
The layout of the course was extremely flat and quite basic. On the bright side, there aren’t many hazards, so you’re unlikely to lose balls—one or two at most for the entire round. However, the lack of features also makes the course feel plain and unexciting. If you’re looking for a memorable or challenging experience, this isn’t the place.
The pace of play was a major downside. We were stuck behind a very slow group that didn’t seem to care about how long they were taking. It felt like they either weren’t serious about golf or were just new to the game. Unfortunately, this seems to reflect the clientele the course attracts—players who might not prioritize pace or etiquette. It made for a frustrating experience.
As for the amenities, the clubhouse was nothing special. It wasn’t in bad shape, but it didn’t leave any lasting impression either—it felt low-quality overall. The one staff member I interacted with was polite but not particularly memorable, while the drink cart attendant was very friendly, which was a nice touch.
The biggest disappointment was the price. At $70-$80 for the round, including the cart, it felt grossly overpriced for the experience. The course quality and overall experience were more in line with what I’d expect from a $40 round. Unless they significantly drop their rates to around $35-$45, I wouldn’t return.
Coupeval
Greens were good. Fairways not so much. Bunkers were much improved from past rounds.
Some fairways and bunkers are as hard as cement. Greens were aerated about 5 weeks ago but are still recovering. Some tee boxes need to be mowed down. There are definitely better places to play for the money.
