Walking Fivesomes
That’s all I have to say. Walking 5somes in the middle of the day on a Sunday. There’s no management of anything going on with the players on the course, On top of having a 3 hour front nine, the course decided to send a walking twosome out on the back 9 in front of us. No explanation, nothing, just shut up and keep playing. I’m sure American Golf will give them a bonus for squeezing in as many green fees as possible with disregard to player approval.
Friendliness goes a long way!
Being friendly is not that hard, and it can greatly enhance the overall experience. The course was enjoyable and not very challenging, making it fun to play. I had an early tee time, and the golfers waiting for the gate to open were very friendly. However, the staff should recognize that they can significantly influence how someone feels about the course. On several occasion, they failed to make a positive impression. There were no smiles, just attitudes that conveyed they didn't want to be there so early. With 20 golfers eagerly waiting at the gate, excited for a fun round, the staff's demeanor was disappointing.
Disappointing pace of play
When I arrived there at the box, my teatime was at 8:27, at that moment three individuals jumped in front of us, saying that the starter told them to go in front of us, to make a long story short I found out one of the players weren’t there. That was disappointing, knowing that they get that preference to make things worse. The pay to play was very slow because of them that’s unacceptable. I bet you they didn’t even get to pay either.
Great staff! That's about it though.
There were no decent lies to be had on this course. I felt the greens were in decent shape. Everything else was subpar. The staff in the pro shop, the starter and concessions staff were awesome!
The staff is what would bring me back.
The course itself was mediocre. Lots of crabgrass and dry spots throughout the course. The greens were good and plenty of hazards around those same greens. Pace was slightly slow but not terrible. I definitely would play it again but probably not recommend it. The staff and amenities were great.
Brand new carts....course in average shape.
Busy muni course, brand new carts. Should spend money on grooming the course. Fairways and rough were patchy and very inconsistent for end of June. Greens were in good shape.
Pace of play was really slow (5.25 hours) but it was Saturday.
Course layout has many holes parallel and crossing .....dangerous and slows play considerably.
Never seen so many balls laying all over the place on a golf course.
Ok practice facilities....Cafe was meh butbpricey for a muni.
3/5
Best Bang for your Money
Can beat the price for a round of golf. Today the pace was slow, but I finished just before the sun went down.
Late afternoon rounds are back on the menu boys
Alondra is in great shape to start the summer. The rough can e hard to deal with when it grows, but it was manageable length out there today. Greens were rolling true, albeit a little soft and slow. Pace was pretty solid for a 2:30 tee time. Some new golfers out there but things were keeping up pretty well regardless.
I messed up
When I went on the app, I wanted to play nine holes at 5:18 PM, but I messed up. I accidentally paid for the wrong time., I put 5:18 AM instead of p.m.. It was my mistake so I guess I had to eat the price. It cost me. Make sure you check the time twice before you accept it. Even if I would’ve caught it after I purchased it you cannot get refunded because you have to cancel 48 hours prior to your playing time. I learned a big lesson but I won’t do it again Rudolph.
