American Golf needs to improve conditions , including range and pro shop
Should not have let us play the course
There were literally huge puddles in the middle of the fairways, we lost balls and the carts made huge depressions.

Course getting better greens starting to come back
It just gets worse
I’ve played Alondra multiple times and each time I have to tell myself, never again.
The tee boxes are torn up and uneven. The spots that aren’t are overgrown. The fairways are overgrown with no care given to fix them up. The greens are simply trash. Whether it be the divot marks all over the greens looking like the face of the moon, the fringe having just muddy holes around them and being terrible.
This course, if kept up and refreshed, could be such a gem but it is continuously neglected.
NOTHING has changed since new management
Key system hasn’t been installed even though for months there were signs saying it would switch over 1/1/23.
Sunday tee time at 8am- 5 1/2 hour round. They let a group of 5 tee off. No Marshall.
You get what you pay for; a lackluster round of golf.
Painfully slow
I played here on Saturday and could get on earlier than my scheduled tee time, and I"m glad I did. My original 11:15 tee time would be chasing daylight to finish. The pace was painfully slow with multiple groups waiting on almost every tee box. Paid for 18 holes but only played 9 because it took 3 hours to get through the front and I didn't want to have a 6+ hour round. I don't know if there was a tournament before, but this was awful.
Good public course
Location is good for me. Overall course condition is not bad.
New ownership
New ownership and the course is gli no through a transition. Facilities and course were left a mess by past owner. Greens being sanded and the rough and surrounding area of play is overgrown at the moment. Will take some time for the place to be cleaned up and running smooth again.
