4 Players Using 2 Sets of Clubs
Everything was great except for the group of 4 in front of us was playing with only 2 sets of clubs. There were two empty holes in front them almost the entire round.
Short Game Practice
It’s a great place to practice your short game and putting. Longest hole 180 yards. Par 3 is fun.
Changing it up
Been playing a bunch of long 18s - thought I would work on my shorter game so switched it up. Pace was fine today even though it was pretty busy. Fairways not bad, a few muddy, really soggy / flooded spots in and around fairways/Greens. Greens were quick but pretty bumpy and kind of a let down.
Can’t remember hole - but front 9 had a tree down like it fell down pretty much covering half the fairway.
All in all we did the short course in 2.5 hrs with a few delays at some holes.
Very small but worth the money!
The par 3 course is very small, the longest hole is around 160 or so. The holes are also all very close together so keep your head on a swivel cause balls go flying everywhere. Good for working on your short game and to get to play 18 holes in under 3 hours. I paid $9 for 18 holes so i would say it’s definitely worth the money!
Beginner course
Greens are horrible and many holes you have to hit off of a mat because there's no grass.
The course is actually challenging with small greens and over hanging trees but it's not maintained.
Surprised
Another golfer told me this 3par course was once rated #4 in the country for difficulty. Your shots have to be straight or they will hit the trees or land on another fairway. The greens can be a challenge and a little beat up. Friday and Saturdays are super busy but during week or late start at 6pm is well worth the price of admission
Challenging course
Have been playing the short course for over 30 years, and it’s still just as challenging as the 1st day I played it. Small greens, most elevated, make scoring tough. Always fun to play.
Okay value for the $
Par 3 is a nice touch, especially for beginners or ppl that don’t have time to play regulation. Would LOVE it if they got rid of the mats. Boo.
Get what you pay for
Played the Par 3 course for the first time recently. At $16 for 18 holes it's a bargain on that dimension. Course quality was fine--some of the greens (which are challenging given how small they are) are pretty beat up. Biggest frustrations were slow pace (3+ hours to finish in a two-some) and the very narrow layout. Everyone is hitting onto everyone's fairways the whole way.
All that said, 18 holes for $16 is not a bad way to get a few hours in outside.
Good practice course when you’re rusty
took my man and his kids out for Father’s Day for the par three customer service and the staff were excellent greens were mediocre it was very crowded definitely bring your hardhat people don’t yell out foooouuuuuuurrrrrr!!!
Would play again just very confusing to navigate
